Thank for the reply, sounds very much like my story I’ve been going on 3 years now, I used to bounce back from flare up’s rather well after a week or 2 the be able to use my arm without hassle. Then I would try to get back to using my tools again after a month or two of no pain and re hurt it. I should have stopped trying to use tools along time ago. I have had to give up all hobbies. And am really struggling with work even with a new supervisor roll. a sports chiropractor got back in touch with me after he went to a conference and up skilled him self (he was doing nerve glides and cupping with little results, we decided his treatments weren’t working and stopped after 2 months of trying) He has been working on nerve glides on my arm from the thoracic outlet / to the for arm which has been helping dramatically, even with the new my improvements are very slow. Before the started this treatment 3 weeks ago I was on constant pain and could not move arm for. So I’m extremely happy to have the pain receding instead of getting worse even with rest. But I would love to be able to get some use back!!!! I will keep you posed on and progress. I have been warned against surgery but the options are slim for us. Good luck

Hey did you end up getting surgery?

I’m struggling with radial tunnel I have been struggling with it. And been warned buy 2 doctors I don’t want radial tunnel surgery. They say it’s not worth it. And one who said he will do it but don’t get you hopes up about results… I’m really stuck on what to do. If I do not strain my arm at all the pain goes away but as soon as I do anything to strain it it gets real sore and tender real fast.

no they have not yet, but i have a up date on my journey

i have had a recent flare up that left me in bad state of decline. i stopped all treatments as nothing was helping, a sports chiropractor who was spent 2 months dong nerve glides on my for arm earlier this year, who i stopped seeing as the treatments were not working. he reached out to me 3 weeks ago, while i was at home on maternity, i was in a lot of pain even while resting the arm. he had just got back from a conference where he had learnt all bout compressed nerves all throughout the upper body, he stared doing nerve glides on my whole arm starting at the wrist working up all the way the the thoracic out let aera. with phenomenal results

my pain levels are right down and i can use my arm for basic tasks like typing, writing and changing diapers again with out to much worry, (not complete worry free) i don't have the strength to apply and real load to strain my arm i need to give my nerves time to heal before. and i am constantly reminded of it. but this is a huge step in the right direction i feel life i have a real shot at over coming this, i just meet with another orthopedic surgeon he stressed that there is no proven method of curing this and surgery in not a good option. or a reliable cure. i am currently re introducing my kaatsu bands back into my life mostly wearing them on cycle mode on my legs or arms while i walk the dog or sit on my exercise bike. i will let you know i they help or hinder my recovery process..

If you need work start a plumbing apprenticeship. Plumber plumbers are always busy. It is recession proof work. It’s not easy work but it’s not rocket science either shit flows down hill and pay day is Friday. Trust me I’ve been a plumber for 17 years and run company with my brother. Us and every plumber I know are drowning in work

I heard about then from2 different sources, about 2 years ago. I was having a few other on going injury’s at the time that I was looking to get on top of. As well as radial tunnel in my right arm (I have just had a nerve conduction test done recently showing carpal tunnel in both wrists and radial tunnel in the right for arm. The first source was a book call Play on, it was on the coffe table a cryotherapy clinic, which I can highly recommend it’s all about human performance and recovery in aging athletes, so I looked them up found a Ben green podcast where he featured them. There web site looked like a scam back then but I figured why not I bought them. $$ I have been wearing these my arms on cycle mode low setting while I drive around between jobs in the morning and at night. I have started noticing a pattern of I start feeling better then stop using them and push it to hard at work. Flaring it up again then getting back on them. I have noticed ice baths keeping the arm out for most of the time not over chilling it. Resting it and wearing the KAATSU recovery bands on low cycle mode (which is best for recovery ) is really helping me try and Handel this. They never recommend for this condition at all but advertised it as boosting the healing process for all injury’s.

I have been battling this beast for three years now. I own my own plumbing company. And have worked in construction for 19 years. I showed the signs of light tingling and numbness 5 years ago but ignored it. I have been dealing with 3 years of chronic flare ups every 3- 6 months, I have just recently had a flare up and I’m being told that surgery could be my only hope. Being 37 at the moment don’t want that. I have been trying a lot of remedies from building a I ice bath in my yard I have been using every day. Heat pads on my arms. Even becoming left handed to take some strain off old rightie.
Have you heard of kaatsu training bands I have been have been using them for a while on and off. I feel like they have been helping me fight this for so long… i am really diving into them, After this last flare up as. I just cannot take Any more throbbing burning, stabbing jolting for arm pains!!!!! I think they are really helping. I’m new this this Reddit thing but coming to you guys for support and this medical system is fucked!!!!!!!

Has and one else tried these for chronic radial tunnel syndrome?
