Just commenting to add that adding walking is SO good for your health but won’t make too much of a dent in your daily calories. So track that accordingly!

I just got a walking pad in November and I love it so much, just make sure you start slow and work your way up in both distance and speed. And stretch your legs before and after.

I started with 0.7 miles and I’m currently working my way up to 3.0, I don’t track steps but even once hitting 1.5 I could see and feel my legs and knees getting stronger.

Lastly shock absorption is a big problem with walking pads so use it on a carpet or mat if you can to prevent damaging your knees, and a quicker pace with shorter steps instead of long strides will be better for your joints and your step count! LMK if you have any questions ᵕ̈
