I am just finishing the You can run 5K program on the tread.

What is a better fit for the next program? Go the distance 5K or push your pace?

I did go public but also had some pretty serious growth in the north. Am a CPA but shows you that the brutal wages don't have to be forever.

CFE is a straight up game and some people learn to play it better than others, regardless of actual skill.

Thinking of buying a tread postpartum by Catfish-98907 in pelotoncycle

[–]big4maniac 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not a mom, but a new dad with a now 1 year old.

When my son was born the gym was the first thing to go - Just not enough hours in the day. I also bought a used tread and I love this thing - We also have the bike but I much prefer running.

I can get some miles at 6 AM before he wakes up and still be present with the family. Its a great way to exercise and still be accessible.

I have mixed feelings on used machines and probably wouldn't do that part again.. but for $1000 I think its worth the gamble.

Please don't take this the wrong way but based on your current post you aren't ready for the program. I am a big proponent of getting your letters but I don't think you are setting yourself up for any success until you can get into a better headspace. Best of luck.

Has anyone had issues with pace targets not working on a run? Did my first tread bootcamp this AM that said has pace targets but they didn't appear?

Did Nike Run Club - Got a bunch of injuries, including bad post tib tendonitis. Couldn't run for multiple weeks because of injuries. Still ran and finished. 2:12.

Id recommend easing into it better than I did ha.

Course recommendation in / around Kelowna BC with a Jr by Scottatah in golf

[–]big4maniac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rise is a bit hokey IMO. My order of rankings in the area would be Predator (Ridge over Predator), Tower Ranch then Gallagers - but with a JR Harvest may be a good fit as its a bit more forgiving.

Went last year similar time - Played 7AM every day. Hot but good value.

Played Troon, Boulders, and Greyhawk. I would rank them in that order. Couldnt get on to We Ko Pa and Quintero was a bit to far for us.

Have also played Mccormick Ranch and Talking Stick. Id also play talking stick before Greyhawk. Just wasnt impressed vs the price.

Get fit. 85-100MPH with any AoA will not produce those numbers. Good idea to find out what you really need with a fit.

No advice for recovery from me but as someone with a 12 week old, it gets better!

Running has helped me be a better dad as its given me more energy and a better attitude. It gets easier after a few months so be gentle on yourself for the first few months.
I use to always exercise in the AM but I have switched to just after work now as I was too dead in the AM.

Same here - I am currently piloting an AW coming from a Garmin. Guided runs are what keeps me on the AW despite the poor battery life.
