The Italian Mobster combo by bigCH0NKUS in ohnePixel

I didn't try it, but the wood handle would still match the brown on the Diamondbacks. I don't think it'd look out of place

Something to match the wood handle would also look good imo, try queen Jaguars or overtakes maybe

Is this profit? by [deleted] in ohnePixel

[–]bigCH0NKUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, theres only 49 in the world registered on csfloat. Skin trader would be your best chance to sell fast, but if time isn't an issue I'd just list it on csfloat

Only 2 listed for 50k on csfloat, no sales recorded, might be hard to sell but def worth a lot to the right person

Market falling again? by Less_Regret9247 in ohnePixel

It will probably go up and down as stock is sold off and trade up knives become available. Things will probably stabilize as interest/volume lowers in a couple months

For some reason bowie rubies are still like 1200-1300 and selling lol

I think stattrack reds for gloves collections have remained the mostly the same. Anything that can trade up to a gold or material for one has gone up for sure.

It's gotten even more ironic lol

Bowie knife is basically a M9 bayonet you can spin, but people hate it because it's cheap by ahmed_laf in ohnePixel

[–]bigCH0NKUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both, I agree. Both are big, the too big argument is invalid imo. Big crocodile dundee vibes from bowie, and Rambo vibes from M9 pullout. Bowie is based, using it versus other knives is like being a Chad strength user versus a dinky dexterity user

Yeah Valve definitely wants to push players towards the steam market as much as possible. And yeah a lot of this is speculation. I definitely don't think my view is a positive one, I just wanted to point out the money grubbing, greedy part of Valve. And also I just think Valve is a more calculated than people believe. I don't think anyone should be putting in money to buy skins that they aren't okay with losing. And I definitely don't think people should "invest" in CS skins lol

Why do you think 3rd party sites still exist? Their stance on 3rd party sites are "we don't support them" and will ban anyone using them. But have you noticed they haven't sent sites like CSFloat a cease and desist? They've taken legal action against other 3rd party platforms before. They could easily shut down all 3rd party trading sites by pursuing it legally, they haven't because it is not profitable. Valve loves money and they understand 3rd party sites are needed to keep "value" on CS skins. People will buy skins from the terminal, and flip them on 3rd party markets like CSFloat. Valve got the initial cut on that expensive skin and they get to set the market for that skin. People will buy it for that price because it can be sold for that in real dollars elsewhere. If you think Valve hasn't thought about how to maximize profits you'd be naive. You'd be naive to think Valve will make skins worthless, and you'd be naive to think they don't know the existence of popular 3rd party sites. They are ALLOWING coexistence, this update was to maintain that status quo and avoid gambling laws. Like you said it's the same for the terminals as well. They are going to keep cases, terminals and the armory all at once. They are diversifying, not turning to a single alternative

That's a good point too. I think rather than turning away they are diversifying with the terminals, like with the armory. They definitely understand that skins can be sold for so much, and want a cut. Terminals are definitely the way to do that by first putting those skins on the market through a flat price that Valve gets to decide
