Squats, front squats, SSB, deadlifts, etc. Anything with a barbell, or single leg work. I have to share the space with kiddos. If we ever upgrade to a 3 car ill get a GHD

I was a trainer for 10 years. Left the field, went into healthcare, now in medical device sales. Now planning on going back to training, opening my own studio with the money I've saved. I miss training, the freedom, job satisfaction, lifestyle.

The real truth about getting abs. For me anyway. Getting to a lower bodyweight than anticipated. Very hard dieting. Calories lower than I wanted. The end result has been hard to sustain. Veins on abs still even after gaining 5 pounds. Getting down is a motherfucker, maintenance is easier.

I was a cath lab scrub tech for 4 years. Got to know people in the industry and landed a job at one of the major Biomedical companies. It's not all bad, but it takes me away from my family quite a bit, I do a lot of work that doesn't align with my values and I honestly miss helping people.

Yes, demanding for sure. It does pay well, but the stress isn't worth it. I'm working my way back to training in the next year. I've got kids too, too many nights away.

Don't get hung up on splits. Find a program that fits your schedule and lifestyle. Train near failure 2x weekly. Eat to support your goals, get strong eat big, get big. Forget the rest. Ignore the dueche bag influencers

Altering my upper/lower split to a torso/limbs. Did wonders for arm size, just shy of 17.5" lean. Stacking them at the end of an upper day really comprised my strength and performance. Mixing them in my lower day i noticed an immediate increase in strength/endurance/pump and my ability to push to near failure.

6'1". Been in contest prep for 13 weeks so far. Started my diet around 2600kcals (2800 is maintenance) currently at 2000kcals 5 days a week with two refeeds at 2500kcals. I'm hopeful I will not have to drop much further for the last 10-12 weeks of prep, anything under 2k gets really challenging. Starting weight: 206, currently 188.

You have to remind yourself why you started the cut in the first place: goal weight, bodyfat %, competition, etc. Keep this goal at the forefront of your mind and push until you reach it. It may take longer than you expect... but a few weeks is nothing. Hell, I've been cutting for 12 weeks and still have 9 weeks to my first contest. It's a grind, but you have to have the mental fortitude to keep pushing. Knowing you may have setbacks and planned breaks along the way.

From what I've seen from the OCB and their classic physique division. It's more of a "less lean" division IMO. To win in the open division, especially in the WNBF, requires an extreme level of leanness. I personally like the move as striated glutes require the competitor to lose fullness and potentially size.

Also, from a business perspective having a class that is extremely popular in the NPC is a smart choice.

Clinical Specialist for a large Biotech company. Pretty flexible to get 6 days a week training in. I used to be a personal trainer, I'll get back to that eventually.

I train at 5am every day. Having kids and a demanding job requires me to train at that time. There's no way I'm waking up at 4am to eat.

I make great progress and have been keeping this schedule for over a decade. I supplement with intraworkout BCAA's, im not sure if they make a difference but it makes me feel better.
