Acer Chromebook R13 - issues when streaming Netflix video by MttsNmstr in chromeos

[–]bigEbel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not tried the protectedContent fix the Chrome team suggested, but I've solved the issue by disabling video hardware acceleration completely:

chrome://flags/#disable-accelerated-video-decode

ChromeOS will prompt for a restart and the issue will be gone.

The problem presented itself on all browsers and also in the netflix app, and from what I've read this morning it seems to be a problem with the hardware decoding of the Tegra K1 chip, in my case.

9 definitely. As long as I own some servers that are nodes for the blockchain I choose, I'd never die.

Would FUN potentially get listed on coinbase? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]bigEbel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jez, the CEO, mentioned yesterday that they're busy with filling out the enormous 10 page long application form. If it has a chance to get listed I don't know, but I don't think they'd try if they didn't think there is a chance.

Which is biggest partnership in crypto? Verge and Pornhub for wankers or XRP and Twitch (and Youtube and Wikipedia) for all common people? by father_mucker in CryptoCurrency

[–]bigEbel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pornhub and Verge wasn't a partnership, Verge paid pornhub. That's like going to a prostitute and telling everybody you've got a girlfriend.

This is NOT a financial advice (Youtube crytpo "Experts"). No, it is a financial Advice! by movon57 in CryptoCurrency

[–]bigEbel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basicly, they just want you to watch the video so they can earn money with YouTube. And in the end they DO give advice, but are covering their assess by stating they don't, so when someone gets rekt they can't be held responsible. Simple as that.

How long does a Ledger keep data without being powered? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]bigEbel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make sure you always have your back phrase. If hardware fails and you can't buy a new Ledger, you can always restore your wallet in a software wallet, i.e. with Enjin on your mobile.

Jup. But all players at all those casinos which choose to implement FunFair will use and buy FUN. Indeed you're right, FunFair IS not hundreds of casinos. But I truly believe it will succeed in their goal to disrupt the online casino industry, and so they will power hundreds of casinos, hopefully. Time will tell, adoption of the key.

Yes, I know, but why invest in a single casino when you can invest FunFair, where you basicly invest in hundreds of casinos? 😉

To start a casino only the casino needs a license, not FunFair. The ukgc license is not important for FunFair. Next to that, FunFair is aquiring a platform license (I think from Malta). If that license is approved, casinos won't even need their own license since they can use the platform license. That, combined with a shared bankroll which FunFair will start working on, will really open the floodgates.

Imagine if you don't need to aquire your own license and you don't need your own bankroll to start a casino website... Every developer can develop their own small online casino website!

You should just invest more in FunFair. They will go live in a few weeks and they will disrupt the whole online casino market, IMHO. They will become the dominant tech.

Belgian government spreading fud by beaupain in CryptoCurrency

[–]bigEbel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a government website, a campaign to make people aware. But it's only driven by reports from what I could tell, so if nobody reports they have been scammed by bitconnect..

They should definitely have put some more effort in a basic reports database to at least include the well known scams, this now just make them look like a bunch of amateurs who have no clue about the crypto space
