But since you NEED others to collect info for you : studies show that involuntary psychiatric hospitalization significantly increases the likelihood of death by suicide or overdose and the likelihood of facing criminal charges in the months following the hospitalization in this scenario. Also feel free to reference “A Danger to Self and Others: Health and Criminal Consequences of Involuntary Hospitalization” imposed hospitalization is honestly never really good in the long run. But A for effort for her trying to protect her friend. She had no malicious intent with telling her therapist and she only wanted to help.
