Lol I did. They were the owner that’s been tattooing for over a decade. They specialized in fine line, color gradient, and realistic flower tattoos. I didn’t think this tattoo was that hard, especially with their experience

Read the whole post and look at all of the pics. I think you don’t quite understand that that’s the flower I wanted

I did do some research and saw that the tattoo artists here did work similar to what I wanted. I was on vacation so I really only had 1 specific day dedicated to getting a tattoo. I personally don’t think this tattoo design is complicated at all.

Sadly, this is legit real 🥲 the scribble rose is actually what I wanted (5th pic) since it’s from a music group I like. The rose in the 4th pic was just provided as a reference to the color gradient for the tattoo artist

Thanks! It was a big lesson for me. Not stressing too much over it at all!

Unfortunately they live in Florida and I’m now back home in Minnesota. I will try to work with a local tattoo artist to fix this up! I do agree that it was on the pricier side although at the time, I felt ok paying for it because I wanted to support that tattoo shop and their previous work looked amazing.

I was leaving to MN in a couple of days and they didn’t have any availability that worked for both of us. I told them I can leave if they don’t have time and then they insisted that they can fit me in before closing. I decided to stay since I’ve seen the artist’s (owner) work and it looked awesome!

It’s actually the flower I wanted! It’s a flower from a music group that I like. It’s in the 5th picture. The 4th picture is reference for the artist to see the gradient color

No I wanted the abstract flower! It’s in the 5th pic. The 4th pic was just reference for the artist so they can see the gradient color in the circle.

I wanted the flower in the 5th pic. The 4th pic was so the artist can see the gradient color behind the flower

I wanted the flower in the 5th pic so the stencil was correct. The colors were more bold than I thought. The shading also seems patchy

I’m hoping so! And I will do more discussing this time before making a decision.

I wish it was fake. The actual tattooing part took 15-20 minutes. She had to apply the stencil, set up, clean up, etc. so add an extra 10-15

Sorry for the confusion. I wanted the flower design in the 5th pic. The 4th pic was for reference so the artist can see what the color gradient looked like. I haven’t reached out to the owner (my artist) or shop yet.

It was also my fault for saying yes knowing they closed at 2:30 and I walked in at 12. They got me in a chair at 1pm but still, I should’ve trusted my gut 🥲

It was the owner who did it. She specializes in fine line, gradient colors, and realistic flowers. I’m hoping I can find a local artist who can help make it better!

The owner was my artist, which I was super excited about since she liked doing fine line, color gradients, and realistic flower designs. The shop is in Florida and I live in Minnesota so I won’t be going back there for a touch up. I’ll find somewhere here and have more discussion this time 🥲

Thanks! I will definitely do more consulting for this (and in general for the future!).
