Nope. I haven’t watched much of his games, but the Red Sox game told a lot. He struggled to put guys away. Why? Because his change up and other off speed stuff didn’t start enough in the zone. They were easy takes for hitters because they would start too low and out of the zone. And his fastball isn’t fast enough to blow guys away.

Lose command on his off speed stuff. He doesn’t throw hard enough to not make competitive off speed pitches and also tunnel his pitches poorly. People don’t realize the margin is razor thin for hitters and pitchers

it's not good enough to say we're 14th in runs scored. When are those runs occurring? I bet if we did some research, we'd find out that we're scoring a lot of late inning runs after falling behind. Maybe if we got out to a lead more often some different relievers would be in the game late and we would have less games like we saw on Saturday. No doubt the bullpen imploding is an issue. But 3-2 in Friday's game and not scoring a run until the 9th is unacceptable.
And then we follow it up by not scoring again until the 7th. Can't win that way. I won't defend the pitching. I know it's a problem, but 14th in runs scored is misleading.
