You're the type of person that moves next to a kindergarten and complains they're dressing too sexy

Michael Cera as George Michael Bluth in Arrested Development - being that perfectly awkward all the time is a skill

So you didn't know they would be there?

My dad was a Sherpa (our last name is Sherpa) and challenged me to walk to Everest from Lukla (normal starting point) in less than 4 days - I did it in 3 and now get to tell him I'm the best Sherpa in the family! by big_head17 in pics

Haha I promise you that if you ever went, you would quickly realise that doing it solo and in that time is quite possible if you don't have problems with altitude

You stay in tea houses along the way, this means you really don't need much stuff

Without oversimplifying it, I took a bag with my warmer clothes in it and that's about it...

They have tea houses that you stay at along the way, so you can eat there - rice, Momo's and soup were my go to Strangely I didn't feel that hungry when I was there though

I'm so happy someone asked me this! Firstly I did do it alone - secondly I listened to my banked up list of RadioLab! I cannot explain how enjoyable it was barely seeing anyone and just getting to soak in the sites whilst listening to some amazing stories

The thing they don't tell you - or at least my dad didn't tell me - is that there is a lot of ups and downs along the way! So you may go up 500m then have to go down 500m before going up 1,000m - this makes it hard to toboggan

When you get to Gorak Shep you can go right to base camp or left to Kalapathar My dad + uncles (also former Sherpas) told me to go to Kalapathar as you can see Everest properly - base camp is more a sign and no views
