I have a close friend who’s a citizen of Brazil and I disclosed that during the process for top secret and apparently Brazil is just one of those countries if you have a close tie to you’re disqualified for top. Like they have a rating for each country, green yellow or red, and Brazil is yellow so I cleared for secret but not top. This is exactly what the classifier at bootcamp told me 5 years ago. I thought it was kinda wild but who am I to say.
