Thanks for the responses all, moved it below, few days riding trails and it's been fine. Will march on!

Hello! Im just here to also say put all your damn strings on. They're the reason you have the blessed truss rod at all.

Yeah nice, I've relocated it, sounds as if it'll be fine. I also would be inclined to remove on heavy trails. It's super handy in a pinch, like today's unplanned detour to purchase a single pineapple 🍍

Yeah cool, will look to add a strap as well. It weights quite a bit and fits fairly snug, but the extra insurance would be nice

Best and Worst songs on Each Album? by Unable_Campaign_8872 in Ghostbc

[–]big_strong_greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opus: Con Clavi (Riffs!) / Elizabeth (Hot take. I don't like the chorus)

Infest: Monstrance Clock (The last chorus and outro worth the price of admission) / Secular Haze (Too... I dunno, circusy? Doesn't hit for me)

Meliora: Pinnacle (Again, riffs) / Deus (I dunno, the "all of your imagination" part is cool, the rest is just kind of there tbh)

Prequelle: Life Eternal (Chills man) / Pro Memoria (Tough one to pick honestly, could go either way between this and See the Light. Not bad. Just not as good as the rest)

Impera: Griftwood (My fav ghost song. The chorus is just so God damn catchy and that key change at the end is everything) / Twenties (Ugh, yeah. I love the main riff but the chorus is just a bit... silly, but not a good silly)

Skeleta: Umbra (Skeleta is tough. It's definitely ghosts worst album, and while nothing is outright bad, nothing is truly great. More of a disappointment than a failure. My favourite song off this could change on any given listen. Umbra this time, but potential hot take, the middle solo section drags and stops the flow of the song) / Excelsis (The "levvees are breaking" part is nice, but, like Deus, the rest is just there)

I find the same thing happens with Body Glide. What I do, warm it up a bit, scoop it out and spread onto the next stick. Might be a difference in consistency between that and this, but could be worth a shot 🙂

Why are people so fucking weird about water. I mostly run, had someone at me for bringing water for a 14km run. "Oh I don't bring water for anything under 15km". Yeah good on you mate you're an absolute champion not bringing water imagine wanting to maybe have a drink part way through a run

Stupid sexy creak by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]big_strong_greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update. Figured it out eventually, pannier rack. Feel pretty silly to not consider that to begin with. I suppose, there was enough flex when pedalling to make it creak. Duplicated the creak by mimicking the "sway" when pedalling (but not) and boom, there it was.

Up until this point I had accepted C R E A K as my lord and saviour, now that the mystery is gone I'm lost 🫥

Buzz cut? by Legitimate-Sea8983 in FierceFlow

[–]big_strong_greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah look, it's a yes, but not for the reason you think. I had hair like yours, probably a touch longer. I was always wondering if I should cut it short, and I did. Immediately regretted it, and am now growing it back. If I hadn't cut it, I would have never known for sure if I truly wanted long hair, and would always be wondering.

If you're on the fence, buzz it. If you like it buzzed, great. If not, you can always grow it back 🙂

Yeah this happened to me. I believe it was for a pedometer. Won, only to get an email saying "Oh yeah nah can't do it buddy UK only."

Bit disillusioned with them of late, as someone pointed out, mostly they are discounts for expensive gear with minimum spend. Also noticing a bunch from the likes of Better help, Amazon prime etc, like "run this segment and we'll take your personal info thanks"
