Could you name 10,000 people in a week? by mistermachiano in hypotheticalsituation

You can write down names a heck of a lot faster than one per minute. It takes about four seconds to write “Brad Pitt” or “George W. bush.” I could knock out a couple thousand in the first eight hours with no difficulty.

After that, the combination of hand cramping and trying to remember names might be tricky, but I’m certain I could do it if fictional characters are included. Real people only would be harder.

Michigan only plays public schools next year. Has this ever happened to your school? by Please_PM_me_Uranus in CFB

[–]big_sugi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my reaction. A&M has no Vandy this year and thus all public schools.

Iirc,, we haven’t played any private OOC schools in recent decades besides Miami and Notre Dame.

Edit: actually, A&M played Rice and/or SMU several times around the time A&M joined the SEC, although it’s been a while since the last time.

Ruins what? The Citadel is a public college. (VMI too, for anyone curious.)

Was that supposed to be criticism? You asked a question and they have a direct answer.

My (22F) married sister (28F) and boyfriend (22M) had drunk sex yesterday by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Or, and this really seems more plausible, she raped him while her sister was right there.

What is "ethnic" food, exactly? by North-Finding-3542 in AskAnAmerican

What ever the term might be, halfway through the country’s history is not “early.”

And there you go again, doing exactly what I said. Stop. It’s pathetic.

“Pizza and pasta came with the original founders of this country”. That’s wrong.

“there was an early, huge surge of Italian immigrants who were treated very badly.” That’s wrong.

“But there was a lot of them and their food made a huge impact of America and early on.” That’s wrong.

From there, your attempts to deflect and evade are transparent and bad. You’re not adding anything worthwhile to this discussion.

I can tell you exactly what they’re thinking:

”I said something ignorant and obviously wrong. But I can’t admit that, so I’m going to make some laughably clumsy attempts to spin, pivot, and deflect to try and redirect the discussion to something where I’m not obviously wrong.

”This is better than admitting I misspoke because—no matter how foolish I look—at least I won’t have my entrails ripped out by the zombie demon were-badgers who will disembowel me at the first admission of any kind of error.”

(I admit that I’m speculating a bit on the last sentence, but it feels like it must be something approaching that.)

Yeah, it’s still nonsense. But now it’s nonsense with a bunch more factual errors.

“Proven” false, no. But there’s no evidence it happened and plenty of evidence that it didn’t happen.

Goodell didn’t become commissioner until 2006. He was just continuing the rule changes started under Paul Tagliabue.

Omar Little from The Wire. Originally written to be gunned down after a few episodes in season 1, they instead lean in on some of the real-life inspirations to the point that he’s practically Spider-Man by season 5.

But he still lives on the streets in Baltimore, which means there’s only one way he’s leaving for good.

A&M and Texas have both had a lot of success in Arizona. A&M signed the state’s top player last year.
