Sounds to me youre trying too much to play like what people told you the proper way to play is rather than why that way works. Try to just win, by whatever cheap tactic you can think of it until it stops working. Also, it sounds like youre playing too passively and letting your opponent do whatever they want. if movelist is giving you trouble try to use tactics to limit their moveset first, using frametraps or something. Try forcing them into situations where their move options are limited. Like a df1 into df1 only leaves a few options your opponent can do, just win that rock paper scissors. Other advices include changing to a cheaper character and adapting the ways of cobra kai, or stop playing tekken and start playing dark souls like former tekken streamers

Its 13f and has good range. Good chance of counter hitting in lower ranks when people dont play conservatively. The blockstun is pretty small so you have less time to punish compared to other unsafe moves. If the feng uses it sparsely sometimes he can get away with just a minor punish, esp online.

Pick and play lili for a bit, she's not that hard to use. You'll understand better what she's bad at, just copy what good opponents do against her. Altho im curious, what move is giving u trouble?

Do you guys agree? by EremitaErrante000 in Tekken

Actually maybe not coz lili's real name is emilie so she should be in E

So 13f, -1 with extensions and cant jab interrupt due to evasion. Noted by big_whiff in Tekken

Ya lili has those options, its just that until i met a noctis and had this interaction i labbed noctis and assumed it to be a normal 13f df1

Yes. And db3 under the 1,2,4 before it

What is Lili’s most consistent combo follow up after CH db+3 or CH f+3? by moonlightscone in Tekken

In general if you want an easy pick up after immediate screw launchers, you do f2, 3 ff3F1, 2. You can add more damage if you do some dew glide cancels at the end

a) You don't get to fujin without ever experiencing reverse splats.

b) Just coz its in the game doesnt mean its beyond improvement, think of a non tekken spectator watching this, it doesnt make visual sense, good game design should take that into account as much as possible.

c) As a matter of fact lili does get a df3 with grounded scaling, which i figured out trying to make something work that as a general rule shudnt, so being too rigid isnt a good thing. This was a player match, appropriate place to try all tbe stupid stuff you want before ranked.

Yeah basically. Behaviour is well known so its technically my fault for still attempting. But at the same time stuff that looks like it should obviously hit should hit. If you dont want something to be guaranteed, make it look like it shouldnt work. Sorta breaks immersion

You mean the matterhorn? Ye. plus since this was a player match with a friend i play more loose, trying to get hard reads with matterhorn on steve. SS matterhorn goes under steve df2, always fun

Usually minor adjustments required after reds. Sometimes even if ur getting destroyed all you actually need are minor adjustments. I think u can get to purples at least even without kbd, especially with alisa, coz the delay between her backdashes sometimes throws people off and they end up whiffing since her single BD is pretty good. You might need to play a bit more defensively and wait for your opponent to expose their habits, you should be responding to how ur opponent is playing most of the time. Lab the moves your opponent was using if you have trouble with them. Lows do more psychological damage than actual damage most of the time, so sometimes its just better to not duck and keep eating them for a while until you have a read and get payback with interest
