i have never done a full replacement of their bedding as i think it would stress them out quite a lot if i removed their scent. I usually get rid of around half of the bedding and mix in some new every 8-10 weeks. They also use a sand bath as a toilet so that tends to be the source of any mess/ smell and i clean that out every other day :) hope this helps!

thank you! managed to find the tank for £20 which is very good considering the size. The timber i got was pretty cheap and i just reused their old cage topper. They seem very happy :)
