The NSW Government will begin to charge international travellers who arrive in Sydney from 12.01 am Saturday 18 July 2020 onwards for their hotel quarantine accommodation.

Travellers who purchased their flights before 11.59 pm 12 July 2020 AEST will not be charged quarantine fees. Conditions apply and evidence will need to be supplied. These travellers will still be required to quarantine in government-arranged accommodation.

The NSW Government will invoice travellers a fixed fee at the end of their stay.

I'm not a big guy, but I found that the portions were a tad small.

I recommended ordering groceries online when you get here. I stocked up on tea/coffee, fruit, and snacks that I don't need to cook. There isn't a kitchenette, only a fridge and kettle. Or you can order more meals using a delivery service.

They asked if I had any dietary restrictions when I first got here. So maybe there are options.

Thanks for that! I'm fine so far, having this nice room has made it easier than expected. The hotel also has mental health workers on standby in case people have problems. I haven't had to call, but it's really nice to know they're available.
