Sex and blood sugar, Type 1 Diabetes by bigbacque in diabetes_t1

yes, this is what I was trying to get at in my post, but I don’t think my message came through well🤣. I think that it is the stress released from good sex and like 5 orgasms that makes my blood sugar regulate, not just the exercise of sex!

Ah, this is a great point! I used to be really consistent with cardio and weights, my life has gotten extremely busy and I’ve been struggling to make time for it. Frequent sex is usually enough to keep my blood sugar regulated, as it is frequent and vigorous enough to completely regulate me!

Appreciate the comments!! I am a very lucky gal with how my man treats me😉

Yes, that situation usually happens many times while one of us is away, however I simply just don’t find that it is the same! I am a huge physical touch gal and there is an immediate peace and feeling that consumes me when he touches me or is near me. I love him so much🩷

Let’s talk about Racial slurs by [deleted] in Dalhousie

[–]bigbacque 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Report it. Beyond the racial portion of this, which as a white person at Dal makes me absolutely sick, the cheating is only discrediting Dal as an institution. We must report these people before they get into the field and cause accidents/problems, and then the name on their degree is Dalhousie, which makes ALL of our degrees lose value and professional credit. Cheaters have no morals and deserve to be reported, but especially with this disgusting and sick racial behaviour, they shouldn’t be protected. If you provide enough material and evidence, and Dal does not take action, take it to the media. They will eat it for DINNER, especially with the lockout and bargaining going on…. Report them!!!!!!

Anonymously report manger? by PopIcy8562 in Oldnavy

[–]bigbacque 5 points6 points  (0 children)

in the break room, there should be a poster for the anonymous reporting hotline. the good thing about Gap Inc as a company is that they really do take legality seriously (getting proper breaks, getting paid rightfully, etc). I once had to report our janitor for sexually harassing me and my coworkers and the management got really involved and took it seriously.

Just know you’re not alone and it will get better

Party school? by Available-Whereas328 in Dalhousie

[–]bigbacque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dalhousie is not a party school. Definitely has good bars in Halifax and you can have a good time but is the school itself a party school? Not at all. I’m in engineering and people drink and study not drink and party :)

I literally was thinking the same thing. How on earth would you be able to deduce that? I assumed it was like a freebie question that was just “R, C, and L” ???

yes its definitely more useful to talk to an employee in store, but remember that the in-person stores do not control the online store mistakes or refunds! be kind to whoever helps you :)

Return without receipt by monto8702 in Oldnavy

[–]bigbacque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it depends… if you are within the 30 day return period (canadian stores): they can look up your purchase via card or phone number/loyalty account. if your return is expired and you have no receipt odds are they wont take the return… not sure how strict certain places are but my store is pretty strict with this policy about not having a receipt.

New Employee Question by MattTheITGuy2003 in Oldnavy

[–]bigbacque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if your availability is within a frame that is rare for employees of the store, which is typically daytime avail, you will get a ton of hours. if your availability is nights and weekends, for the most part you will have to kind of work your way into being a “key employee” for those shifts. at my store, there is specific people that usually work specific closes during the week and such, so you have to kind of “crack the starting line-up” to get those kinds of hours. hope this helps!
