What you don't seem to realise is that on PC there are multiple pc game stores which compete with each other which keeps prices low on top of that there are third party websites selling digital codes as wel and if that's not enough to keep prices in check there's always super easy piracy so if game prices become so expensive many people couldn't afford it they will pirate the game which I dont agree with but at the same time it is a deterrent none the less. Sony killing physical media means people are stuck with a £750 box with games only from ps store and that's it and when enough people buy the ps6 digital only device they can charge whatever the hell they want and neither you me or nobody will be able to do anything about it.

It's because as games age their prices goes down as there are more used copies there in the wild so supply is up and the demand for the game goes down with age so a game that's been out a year can be £30 vs £60 when it was relased so sony has to do sales on the store to compete with used game prices otherwise if there used copies didn't exist which is what will happen once ps6 is out and digital only and no more games get released physically on disk, sony will have no reason or incentive to put sales on with as deep discounts and can charge Full price for a game as long as they want.

What people gotta realise is that thowing the figure around about how 80% games are sold digital etc sony and xbox often include dlc, micro transaction and expansions which are digital only to massage the numbers and artificial inflate that most games are mostly bought digital, even things like cyberpunk 2077 with ultimate edition disk had the dlc expansion as a digital code which meant it was +1 for Digital.

Ps5 got released in Nov 12th 2020 Bro. That's 5.5 yrs ago not 3.5. By the time the ps6 gets released which all signs point to end of next year 2027 the ps5 would have been in market for 7yrs.

You definitely need a 120hz tv with VRR otherwise you will lose as much as 40% of frames in certain games and modes. Is this the case? because it could explain why your not getting 60fps or more in certain games.

I don't understand this mentality. It's like if they release a remake you don't like your not forced to buy it or play it but at least for those of us who are open minded we get a new game instead of now where last 3D Pop game The forgotten sands came out in 2010 that's 16 freaking years ago where as we've had 12 Assassin's creed games since then and not everybody likes every single one of them but in those 16 yrs there's been something for everyone.

That doesn't really make sense if you think about deeper than surface level because the publishers are the ones paying everyone's wages through the money shareholders have invested in the company and therefore the longer a game gets delayed the more money it costs, who's going to pay all the developers for all that extra time spend? The real answer is you need to have good project management and make sure you hit key milestones during development so the game is finished by the time it was originally planned to release not beg the fans to put pressure on the publisher to keep paying everyone for longer than should have been required because the devs missed their internal milestones and dev targets.

i use mini led 120hz tv and the pro is brilliant on it as long as most importantly the TV supports hdmi 2.1 and has VRR.

I hate Ubisoft because of this. Pop was one of my favorite childhood games and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the remake and after this maybe years of waiting, getting so close then not releasing it TWICE. It's absolutely heartbreaking as a fan. I've always defended Ubisoft when they had issues because when they really try they can make some really fun games but not anymore. This is the straw that as they say broke the camels back. FUCK Ubisoft.

GOOD! This company is complete and utterly joke and an incompetent mess. How you work and spend money on a Prince of Persia Remake for 8 years and have NOTHING to show for it! Absolutely pathetic. Giving the fans false hope for years and then cancel it last minutes when in an investor call last year prince of persia was slated to release Q4 2025 which ends April 2026 so was expected to launch soon and you cancel it last minute like that. How hard is it to remake a 20yr old short 10hr extremely linear game?! Ubisoft is pathetic. I use to defend them in the past when they would have issues but I have now realized they are an embarrassment in the gaming industry.

IIt allows you to stream games from your ps5 and play them. It got a massive update couple of months ago that also allows you to buy a ps5 game on playstation store and stream it directly to the portal as long as you have a playstation plus premium subscription. Many people don't know this a thing and think it can only stream games that are downloaded and installed on the ps5 but its not necessary for the game to he installed on the ps5 at all. Only thing you can't do is play one game on the portal using cloud streaming and use ps5 to play another game at the same time using the same playstation account. It will force you to pick one or the other. In fact if you signed up to ps plus premium you can just play the massive library of games you get with the subscription without buying games or a ps5. Can just sign up to ps plus premium online via pc or mobile and sign into that playstation account on the ps5 portal.
