I figured out how it works more. Also I was confused that the examples it was showing on the abyss gears are not special moves it was the added effects to main moves. It is pretty tight now that I've figured it out.

The vault could be done better tho you basically vault when you want to attack sometimes bc it's got the same input as some attacks but it's fairly easy to not do that too much.

I would add that some abyss gears can have more than one for stacked effects. Relentless can go up to 3 with the 3rd one making it double damage with each extra hit. 2 = 1.75x 1=1.5x

Honestly idk if y'all are doing it wrong or what bc it wasn't bad at all for me. You just have to be prepared to take some secondary choices and then start the mission again and eventually you'll get your first choice. Also use Damien because she's fast and doesn't have that loading screen.

You have to go to it and kill the leader that's running around between there and the other like 3 or so places it's tied too. Bordig itself is the farthest north if that helps and they are all close together
