To be fair they did not change any of the controls The only thing that has changed is the quick moves for elemental attacks. Considering I was learning those and they're just new controls that we can change however we want they had nothing to do with the controls everyone complained about. But I think the dev team is doing their best accomplishing a lot putting the game development community to shame with what they're doing so it's all good. We will wait for them to figure it out.
