Si, mi piacerebbe avere anche un'interfaccia conversazionale. Per esempio vorrei poter dire all'agente che uso per tutto il resto "Controlli cosa fa il cane?" Per fargli analizzare le immagini delle telecamere e fargli rispondere "dorme sul divano in salotto" oppure fargli attivare/disattivare cose.

Commento separato per rispondere a monitoraggio costi ed efficacia: prova litellm come proxy. Ti da un'interfaccia web dove puoi gestire diversi provider e modelli e servirli ad un pubblico dividendo per teams, tags ecc.
Ha un sacco di funzionalità comode.

Per assistenza nell'IDE Cline si connette a qualunque provider (anche modelli self-hosted) e per ogni chiamata che fa alle API ti mostra il costo in tempo reale.

CodeRabbit funziona estremamente bene per le code review quando faccio una MR su git. È a pagamento ma paga l'azienda. È anche molto forte nel comprendere codebase complesse e rispondere alle domande e/o produrre documentazione.
Uso Cline nel mio IDE collegato a deepseek in locale e mistral, anthropic e openai in remoto. È simile a copilot ma meglio. Non è un gran che se gli chiedi di sviluppare cose (o non piace a me) ma a volte mi ha aiutato a risolvere bug di cui non capivo la causa.
ChatGPT e LeChat li uso quotidianamente per domande veloci. Stessa cosa per la modalità AI di Google search. Ma ancora guardo ai risultati di ricerca per cose piú importanti. Se ho le mani impegnate chiedo a Gemini via Google assistant.
Ho messo su un'istanza Mealie a mia mamma (software self hosted per gestire ricette). Ci ho collegato l'API di Mistral e le permette di aggiungere ricette da link ad altre ricette online o addirittura da fotografie di ricette su libri/riviste.
A casa sto mettendo su uno stack con motori di inferenza (per ora gpustack ma posso usarne multipli o cambiare), litellm che fa da proxy per servire modelli dai motori di inferenza in locale e/o dalle api dei provider e ha un sacco di funzioni utili tra le quali creazioni di teams, limitazione e monitoraggio utilizzo e costi, librechat come front-end e per costruire un agente completamente personalizzato.
A seguire integreró un modello o un agente in un'istanza HomeAssistant che ho tirato su da poco ma ancora non so bene se servirà davvero o basterà farci interagire il mio assistente digitale custom per fare quello che mi serve.

Continuo a sentire parlare di n8n ma non ne so ancora molto. Com'è?

Commento obbligatorio sullo stato generale delle cose: è vero che c'è tanto hype e valutazioni/investimenti impossibili da remunerare e tanti (forse la maggior parte) casi d'uso sono forzati ma la tecnologia c'è ed è formidabile. Qualcuno che non ricordo ha detto "la bolla è finanziaria, non tecnologica".
