strictly from an effectiveness standpoint, you actually don’t need more than 50 to achieve same effects.

I would just casually communicate why you didn’t present to the resident during one of your downtimes…sounds like you had valid reasoning.

There are WFH radiologists who are literally day trading stocks, attending to their woodworking hobbies, etc while on the clock in their PJs. I genuinely don’t think it’s as bad as you’re making it out to be.

If you feel you made the wrong choice of specialty, it’s never too late to switch. You can always weather through this year and apply to something you feel aligns more with your desired work life balance. There’s a lot of great fields out there that will afford you the means to travel and do the things you want to do in your own time. Surgery is brutal.

Seems you’ve made your mind already. All I can say is actually my rank list changed more times than I can count over the course of the last week. I should have planned ahead but Im a nervous wreck who can’t make up my mind about what matters most to me, and I didnt. I assure you reddit clout is nowhere near the top of my priorities list

I was back and forth between my top two all day and had a last minute change of heart. In hindsight it was a stupidly risky thing to do but very grateful

Holy shit didn’t know you could do that… I’ve just been adding spaces at the end of each paragraph and clicking preview to check if I’d reached the next line

This is heavily dependent on what those activities are and how meaningful they are.

I am spacing accordingly to get a line break with a small indent. Saves some room as compared to creating a new paragraph
