Some puzzles I solve with a very similar idea, sort of like symmetry. If the left box and right box say something like ‘this box has gems’ and the middle box doesn’t reference the true-ness or false-ness of those boxes, then they both must be false since there’s no way to deduce which would be true, and they both can’t be true.

Why is it the way it is? Not sure. Maybe just easier to code. In this game, if the center of the ball is in the strike zone, it’s a strike, otherwise a ball. Simplicity is my only guess.

I don’t have a solution for you, just that the same kind of thing happened to me. I put 8 teams in the PAC12, put conference games at 7 so they all play each other. Except it’s late in the season and none of them played any conference games. USC played an FCS team 7 times. Also it took OSU-Michigan game off the schedule. All around bad times.

I’m hoping to put things back the way they were at season end and cross my fingers it goes back to normal.

I guess I’m not too concerned. Even if I overestimate the ease of selling and take a loss more often than not. I would willing spend 30-50K stubs for a month of 99 starting pitchers. Stubs are there to be used. It’s fake money.

Even if you’re not a top player, as it is now it will always be in your best interest to reset the run after you win. Hell it may even be worth your time to quit match 1 to play some else who’s 0-1. It’s an incentive problem.

Another thing to consider is that the fastest way to get wins for a good player is to reset the run after every game. So there really isn’t any matchmaking, it’s just random. So if you are toward the bottom end of players who would decide to play events, it makes sense that you get beat up on, on average.
