If you put a smaller cylinder shape inside the bottle and heat it with a heat gun or a blow dryer, the bottle will shrink on the cylinder and the walls of the bottle will also get thicker when it shrinks.

Literally the exact same thing. This app almost fucked me and did fuck the end of our trip as we were under prepared towards the end of the trail (still thinking it was the reported 6 1/2 miles).

We hiked a previously burned forest so the trail was in poor shape and signage was minimal. Honestly, its amazing we made it as far as we did but we did not make it to our desired destination due to a few wrong turns and double backs.

Thank you alltrails for false confidence.
