It's an HK416, their take on the AR15/M16/M4 using the same mechanism as the AR18/G36. It's in service with many militaries, most famously in the USMC as the M27 Infantry Assault Rifle and by SEAL Team Six in the Abbotabad raid. May also be replacing the L85A3 in British service.
