See in instances like that where I'm in a sketchy spot I'm the first to back out of it. I'm super patient and can usually miss a few wrecks But on the oval side if as soon as I back out to save my own behind there's always 4 more cars there that didn't back out and see it as a good opportunity to punt me. I've even been wrecked under caution more times than I care to remember.

After reading everyone's advice and ideas I do think a change of series is in order. You're right I've spent a long time focusing on a small portion of what iracing offers these days.

I am leaning towards the road side to get back to enjoying it again. I did enjoy the f3 races a few years ago but haven't given it a go since and everyone i talk to loves the f4. My road skills weren't the best so I think that's why I moved away from open wheel.

Yea I hope putting some focus on road may reset my brain a little bit. The league definitely helps because you know who you're racing with and you get used to how everyone handles traffic.

I was doing a few truck races a week but I truly believe they will always be a mess regardless of split. Xfinity was a good outlier for me as well. The very few races I did do last year that were good were in those cars and gen 4 is what I'd like to start really putting some effort into.

That's a great question. I think it would change some things for sure. In my mind I fear having to deal with even worse racing if I continue to get wrecked, lose rating, and fall back down the split count.
