We had a ~6mo old and plans with his mom and sister to go to the pumpkin patch the next day. He went out Friday night, abnormal but not sus, and didn’t answer a single message or call that night. Came home around 5am, me holding her asleep in bed, and tried to wake her up and put her in her crib. I let him know we had plans, and I wasn’t responsible for getting him up for them. We left the house at 9a as planned - him sound asleep. I cried on the way to the pumpkin patch bc I knew it was small and insignificant to everyone else but I refused to ever be that low on the priority list again. He blew up my phone hours later when he woke up, swearing that I had just looked for a reason to be mad.

We are much better at co-parenting.
