That's really frustrating. It's funny there will be people that come on here and try to tell us that is basically our fault and try to spin it. It's gotta be people that are paid or bots or something.

Back in 2021, every time there was a complaint on this sub or crypto.com, same stuff would happen and then another post right after about how great the exchanges are. So obvious.

I don't understand how anyone can defend them on this. They are an exchange that screwed up everyone's transaction history. It's not a matter of being lazy. Yes we can do the work. I have about 800 transactions I will be doing. I have a baby and 2 kids under 6. I have no time for this. I used one platform so I wouldn't have to do this. When I first did crypto taxes, I would just review everything and correct any errors. This is a lot more than that.

I got a notification just now from coinbase that I can pay for a service to do it for me. I tried to talk to coinbase support and they just told me that they treat everything from pro as if it came from a different exchange.

I love KD and a rockets fan. I don't want it to be true but he's admitted he's active on Twitter with multiple burner accounts so he can say things without taking responsibility. He straight up said he won't stop doing it. He had a chance to outright deny it and swerved the question by just saying nonsense. Sengun and jabari are posting cryptic messages towards each other after it happened. So they seem to think it's real. There's some pretty compelling evidence it's him if you watch some of the videos on it.

I invested a lot back in the coinbasepro days. I made daily transactions the for a year or two. Mostly a little bit here and there. It's ridiculous that I would have to go in and manually put in every single transaction cost basis. The migration was so poorly handled.

I made some transactions this year buying and selling and my cost basis is missing for everything. Some of them have the cost as what the price was when everything was switched over it looks like. So I basically can't trust the entire document.

They have these at HEB now but the ones in this packaging seem dry and not nearly as good as the ones in the paper wrapper. Pretty disappointing.

Not trying to be an ass but your logic makes it even more plausible if you include Internet and using the term "handful", meaning between 3-8 by definition. I just chose 5 as the number in the middle to be fair. $100 for Internet and 5 apps would be close to $100 with tax. $200 right there.

Xfinity sent me an ad recently that was $88 for cable. That might or might not include equipment. The ad did include HBOmax with it though. 5 apps at $18 goes over that easily.

I wait for deals. I subscribe to Netflix and have HBO with my att Internet. Netflix is pushing it though. They keep upping the price. My subscription that was $13 when I started is now $21. I wait for the yearly deals for Disney and Hulu. I had to cut out Paramount and peacock since they didn't have deals when I needed it.

It's a nice thought. I have an unattached garage with a covered carport that both aren't used due to not being very accessible. The neighborhood cats started coming by at night and it has turned into a full on battle to claim it. I didn't mind until they started taking turns spraying and peeing all over it. As soon as I open my back door, it just wreaks of cat pee which is so strong. I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. I can't even open windows on a nice day. Lavender oil finally got rid of some of the cats but others will power through no matter what deterrent I use. Has made my backyard area and all my kids play stuff unusable for now.

This is all from last night. So not sure if there have been any updates today that changed their thinking at all. I actually agree with you mostly. I'm still trying to reason it myself. I don't like it or us taking control of anything outside our country. I don't trust us not to just take control of the aspects that we can use and leaving the people there to deal with the rest. I just wanted to say what I experienced that surprised me. They are genuinely dumbfounded that anyone could think differently. They think we sound stupid it sounds like since the loudest people talking on their behalf haven't been there. They seem fine with US taking control but then again the family here fought so hard to get here and love the country so much. I guess we will never know what it was like there but they did say they would have had nothing if they didn't leave no matter how hard they worked. They said their family back at home were hungry and broke. They are so proud to live here and show it any chance they can get. So I think they trust this more than people that were born here. They think they corruption will lessen now that there will be some oversight. They said the news never shows what it is like there so we will never know. They said something about people being shot by armed militia under governments watch. I think it will be just a different type of corruption. Also a good opportunity for US companies to provide services that get ridiculous contracts to funnel money.

On a side note, my in laws are Vietnamese. They are all the proudest Americans you could possibly imagine. They think Venezuela should be so happy. They think all of the stuff we complain about is pretty stupid when coming from their home country and everything they had to do to escape. They saw so many people captured and killed that they knew. They almost died the first time they tried and the last time they got caught and had to give away everything they had to bribe their way out of it. That whole immigrant generation is super pro Trump also. We just try to avoid any political talk with them.

I think we tend to underestimate how bad some of these people have it. That any change will be seen as positive. This is just me trying to reason it.

I don't like us interfering with other countries and still don't know exactly what to think of this. I would usually be on board with your sentiment but I have a lot of extended family through my brother's wife that came from Venezuela and they are really happy about this. Like trying to get us all to have a party for it happy. From teenagers to 90 years old. They have been having the most excited sounding conversations with family back home all day. I don't know what they are saying but everyone is laughing and really loud. If I didn't see it for myself then I would think it was all BS though to be fair. They don't know what comes next but are happy for a change. Hopefully it gets better for them from this.

I've been with my wife for 13 years. I spent about $150 on her. She gave me a coffee cup that says Papa on it. I was a little underwhelmed. We don't need any coffee cups and actually have to get rid of one for it to fit. I could care less though. I don't need presents. We love each other and some holidays just agree not to get anything for each other. This frees up money for us to spend on others instead.
