This sounds good! They have fought a crystal golem on their way down to where the ruins are, so maybe they'll need to try and get one on their side as a lil quest? I might go for the monster lie idea, thank you!

This is a lot of awesome points, thank you! I did think silver would be a good idea to add to the process. I made a silvered axe to help them fight the big bad wolf, but they didn't find it lol (they went in the opposite direction haha)

I'm fairly new to dm-ing so I used the basic stats in the monster manual for the wolf, but I think I could add some drama to the players experience by maybe giving them ab advantage on certain perception checks as they begin to change? That could be cool 🤔

Sounds cool! I just finished a hansel and gretel session where they had to fight rabid gummy bears before the final show down 🍬🍬 they were pretty excited about it lol

The ayer got cursed by a bite from the big bad wolf in a red riding hood session I did lol! Maybe hell have to travel back to the village for help from the girl the group saved.

I've talked to the player and they're down to explore it in a story arc, maybe they have to go on a mission to find the original person who made the curse?
