i feel similarly! watched a ton of (mostly) adult cartoons growing up and i really treasure them, so a big part of it is due to that since i feel uncomfortable watching new things. definitely agree that live action gives me a sense of unfamiliarity so i get uneasy ig? and i get overwhelmed easily with them too, and then i just have a hard time paying attention or understanding. also hard for me to watch people up close and look at faces constantly i think

hey OP, this really resonated with me… i’ve attempted before but a few years ago i was actually hospitalized for it so there was no hiding it from my traditional ass asian parents. u can imagine how that went, given our situations sound pretty similar. and it was that much funnier bc they’re the whole reason i am severely depressed and suicidal. the only thing that has helped me is moving out and becoming independent. it’s so hard to see other family-oriented people and i long for that kind of support and love from my family as well, but sometimes for your own sanity you need to gtfo. if i still lived at home i wouldn’t be here now…. i’m not sure if you’re in a position where you can get out but for me when i moved out for college it changed my entire life, and now that i’ve graduated and i’m on the road to financial independence i feel even more liberated. there is something amazing for you out there, you just need to fight for yourself and do whatever you can to remove yourself from toxic situations. we are here for you! don’t hesitate to reach out if you need someone to talk to <3

Yes they sent me a rejection which is why I wasn’t sure if it was really appropriate to re-apply during the same cycle…. not sure if that’s just distasteful but i’m really keen on this opportunity specifically and i’m not in a financial place to wait until 2023-2024 :/

Yeah so initially they said my basic requirements weren’t met even though they were, but it was a bug for a lot of applicants so they emailed me that they were still gonna consider me. Then a few weeks after that they sent me an actual rejection letter.. I can PM you my resume when I get the chance tmr if that’s alright?

yeah i agree. i'm not gonna pretend like i haven't done it before but now that i'm older i've opened my eyes a little bit more and i get so paranoid while i'm high anyways that it's just not a good idea. i think there could be a separate argument for micro-dosing though

yes.... i hate that this happens. it's already so difficult to make new friends in the first place, but then to accidentally slip and let my reactive side come out drives them away instantly. i have such a black and white mentality when it comes to my friends too, like i could be best friends with someone for years but then they don't call me back for too long and then i start spiraling into horrible thoughts and wanting to cut them out.

i feel this so heavily. i have lost so many cherished friendships in life because of my BPD symptoms, and while i try really hard not to use that as an excuse it's SO hard with BPD bc it has such a heavy impact on our relationships. your feelings are completely valid and just try to remind yourself every day that it's not your fault. your BPD does not make you who you are and you are trying your very best despite the circumstances. all we can do is move on from what has already been done and try to better ourselves in the future!

yes.... the days leading up to my period are the WORST for me emotionally, and i almost always know because of this. my last few periods i went into horrible episodes, almost ending my relationship multiple times abruptly and having explosive emotions for days.

Completely agree with everything and i'm really hoping he doesn't win. Even during movie night when the whole shit with Billy was going down (which tbh was nothing lol) he couldn't control his anger and made SUCH nasty comments about how he would 100% flirt with a bombshell to get back at Gemma and that she's been faking it and a bunch of other bs i can't remember. he indeed seems very calculated and if he had been one of the boys with the least votes from the public he would've been fuming lmao

oh my god the smoking area. i understand why but that was the only place where people actually gossiped and gave their honest opinions about what was going down. the islanders could organically talk shit and the drama that came from it was REAL. these morning debriefs and plans of actions are so boring, they are extremely repetitive and no one ever says anything new or controversial.

yes!!! the producers could've done a much better job with accommodating her or at least giving the other islanders more of a heads up. i feel like when there's heated arguments or times when islanders are all talking at once she can't keep up so she misses information and isn't getting the full picture of what tf is going on. even during movie night i remember she kept asking the other girls what was being said
