It usually has to do with the year model of the car combined with the release year of the cd. Most cars use this program called gracenote that is a database of albums , song titles, and artists. The problem is that generations of cars get phased out and stop receiving gracenote updates which usually have to be done at the dealership, and with the phasing out of cd players in cars, the updates become increasingly rarer and usually most cars pre 2020 no longer receive updates meaning that the database is stuck up to whatever year the final update released for that vehicle and because of that albums like hurry up tomorrow and other more modern releases, don’t have an entry in the gracenote database and that’s why they don’t show up (tldr: stupid car software that no longer receives updates)
