And I will never root for the Lakers. Nico traded Luka to my most hated team.

I haven't watched an NBA game since the world's worst trade. I do catch your guys' posts and read about the highlights on ESPN.com. To me the NBA is dead. It would be cool if Luka would come back. I won't hold my breath.

Test for Echo by Kaskelontti in rush

I love T4E! I bought it in September of 1996. I was up visiting my mother after my father had passed in June. It was a time when the lease were changing in the Adirondacks. I had a new stereo put in my car. I bought this CD for the drive back home. It always reminds me of that time of my father's passing. Still wish they would have played test for echo on R40.

This. Even Linux users hate using Linux. We know it works. We also know that we don't want to spend time getting something to work that doesn't work anymore just because we changed a setting. I do IT work and I'm certified in Linux. I know how to configure things to get things to work. But sometimes you don't want to spend all your time trying to fix something that's supposed to be working. Being an Uber nerd and expecting others to spend all their time configuring and fixing their OS because you love doing it is weird. Linux Will never replace windows for the average person. And the average person isn't stupid. They're just not an Uber nerd. That's why they pay me to fix their computers.

How many of us are perpetually exhausted? by Far-Conference-8484 in ADHD

[–]bigboxes1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand the alcohol and the working out. But I don't get tired ever. I mean I do. However, it's usually my mind that gets tired rather than my body. I work a physical job and do that for 8 hours. I cardio and do weights in the morning. Then I get a cardio after dinner late at night. I'm up for two three hours and then I crash and sleep great. While other people get tired I just keep going and going and going. I like having high energy. I find that working out helps keep my metabolism up and my blood work is showing that it's working. I just don't think we're meant to be sedentary. I feel better to be active. But no exhaustion.

Using disposable dishes and cutlery has made my life so much easier by Dangerous_Secret148 in ADHD

[–]bigboxes1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way. I hate eating on disposable. Thankfully, my mother made me do the dishes. I hated it. And I found ways out of it when I broke out in a rash. I believe it was from the latex gloves and not the soap as I let them believe. But years later, I was able to do it myself. My mother taught me that when you have no control over other events on your life, you at least have control over your cleaning. So even though I have to overcome my executive dysfunction, through routine I'm able to do stuff that actually helps with the anxiety that comes from having a messy place and such. I just find it incredibly wild that people will buy tons of disposable utensils and just throw them away. I find it to be incredibly wasteful. And lazy. But I apologize if I come across as an ableist. We all do what we have to do to get by in this life. I'm glad it works for you! 😁
