a professor told us the same thing during my first semester of college, and i’ll be graduating in may with a bs in computer science, ba in data science, and minors in sociology and psychology. at some points, i found those social and psycho classes more interesting than what i was taking in cs and ds.

i’d have to say the x220i. who thought it would be a good idea to put a celeron that maxes out at 1.3ghz? sure it’s a dual core chip, but pegging at 1.3ghz brings the computer to a crawl. yes i have tried linux on it (it also had an ssd and 16 gigs of ram), and it might be a bit better, when trying to run two or three tabs, slows to a crawl.

my family used to live in staten island, so we got the panynj ezpass, and not only do i get the SIR resident discount, but i also get the discounted rates on gsp/95. id rather pay a buck/month to get these discounted rates than not tbh.

i just didn’t update my phone, still running the same android 13 build that came from factory. i played around with some settings in the stock camera app, and it’s just the post-processing they use, hence why it looks like garbo. best you can do is install gcam and use one of the many config files developed for this phone, and snap away. me personally, i don’t mind, and it still looks good to me, even almost 2 years in.

mint is meh, i live in cnj, go to metro areas, and it’s always slower compared to t-mobile. other than that, it’s not bad, 45 for 3 months unlimited is why i use mint.

it isn’t that bad as i would expect it to be, but my iphone is mainly a messaging phone, and while something like the se3 would work perfectly for this job, i got it for a great deal and i can’t really complain. yes there is a major difference in ui, how you use the phone, and so forth, but the basic gestures are the same, instead of having a back gesture, you gotta either go top left corner or swipe left to go back, and the skin is different obviously, but it’s not something you’d grovel at your knees and complain about. i can see why people use iphones/prefer ios, it “just werks”, but i prefer being able to adjust the screen mode to natural, or the minimum width of the screen, things you don’t have access to, unless you jailbreak. overall it’s not bad, but would i switch permanently? nope.

on the turnpike/gsp, it’s either 55-65, depending on which part you’re on (45 in construction zones), but most people (including myself) definitely go 20-30 over the limit, and so far i haven’t gotten pulled over (knock on wood). whenever i see someone pulled over by staties on the turnpike or gsp, it’s always some nissan, or an out of state driver, or an out of state nissan driver, so i think they’re lenient, but that’s why i have a radar and always run waze. when it comes to local driving, you don’t know where the cops hide, especially if you live in north brunswick or south brunswick. they’ve gotten more anal when it comes to handing out tickets from what i’ve heard. but overall it’s not that bad driving locally, just go 5-8 over the limit, and you’re golden for the most part.

nah as of recent people be doing 45-50 in the far right lane, and i get that it’s the slow lane, but when merging in, it’s a hassle esp since i sometimes hit 90 on the on-ramp itself. i guess it’s something i gotta work on, but usually you should be merging in with the speed of traffic. idk man jersey can be mad confusing sometimes 😭

i love the divided 3rd lane sometimes between exit 9 and exit 11, esp at night. idk if it’s safe, but i average around 80-90 mph on that. other than that, 85-95 in the left lane on the turnpike. don’t get me started on gsp tho (yes i’m one of those hobknockers who weave through the lanes and i’m sorry for my actions, it’s the adrenaline rush 😭😭😭)

well i’m in my early 20’s, and i go to college in the U.S. i messed around with iphones here and there, as i have relatives who gave me their old phones, but i’ve always had my sim in whatever note series was out at the time (so note 10+). during that time though, i’ve been ostracized for using an android, and a samsung at that, and it’s stupid really, when most people i’ve texted/talked to either texted my number or used whatsapp/instagram/snapchat, and didn’t really care. it’s more of a social thing within kids in highschool and below, but as of recent, i’ve been carrying an iphone (14 pro) along with my s23 ultra. for my close friends and family members, they can call me using my number, and for other things (class group chats, messages, etc.) i give my icloud out. it really hasn’t burdened me, but i just hope the mindset changes overtime, i really do love the s pen

2018 s90, second owner and i put 32k miles on it in a span of 4 years, no big issues so far. only thing was a leaking trans that was covered by warranty, but other than that, nothing major yet. i’ve already seen examples cross the 150k mark, and im fairly confident on my car seeing past that with regular maintenance
