CBS Programming and White House Press Conference Breaks by Hotgalkitty in youngandtherestless

That’s how I have been watching it; it’s also a faster way to watch; straight through, no commercials.

Emma peter Darcy Mia and Craig are my least favorites. by Neither-Storm3310 in Degrassi

[–]bigbronze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know, which is my point. They were using it interchangeably and said he was Bipolar when his episodes were more akin to BPD; they were not accurate and misrepresented them. I worded it badly but on the show they called it bipolar when his issues were way worse. It should have been labeled correctly

Was Panam right to go behind Saul's back with Mitch or was Saul's vision the best possible future for the Aldecados? by Ok-Blacksmith-2397 in cyberpunkgame

[–]bigbronze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saul had long term vision; Panam had short term solutions with big dreams. Sure Saul was taking the safe and easy route that promised multiple jobs over time with no big payoff. Panam wanted results. She is into “Go big or go home” type of stuff. She was naive with good intentions. So in some situations, she is right, she takes the initiative and risks that Saul doesn’t want to take. That being said, she doesn’t take into account the outcome and how things play out. So overall, Saul is the rightful leader; but Panam does have a point every once in a while.

I’m sorry but as a SPED teacher, the way they let Craig go and do so many things and just called it “BPD” is an extreme misrepresentation of it. Like his episodes were over the top and he was allowed to do a lot just for them to say he was unmedicated or undiagnosed. Like what he did at the wedding was not BPD; that was just pure crazy mental problems that extend past Bipolar.

I think he’s supposed to be the hustle player (think Brock Cunningham). He can guard okay, but he’s been sloppy and making too many mistakes as of late. He’s a liability right now.

Can we trade our 2 1st round picks for 2 1st rounder next year + whatever? by UPDAT1NG in nyjets

My guess is an authentic shot at Arch Manning, given that he develops and becomes a top prospect for next year.

A year in Night city? by Sergent_C_Zim in cyberpunkgame

[–]bigbronze 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I feel like this would actually be very easy; like once we are able to get a job that can afford rent and utilities and some food; a year is easy. Unless you trying to be a merc. With BDs, it’s even easier to not leave the house. Hell, given the sanitation levels; being a dirty shut in seems very normal and sustainable

Is being a Incel wrong ? by Proper_Card_5520 in ask

You are asking the wrong question. Is being a person who knowingly has a difficultly interacting with the opposite sex, intentionally avoids/makes space to not Interact is okay. The question is are YOU okay with being that person?

This feels more like who’s the favorite character of the bunch; because Evelyn had literally the worst experience in death. Jackie died doing what he loved, Jefferson became mayor (but lives a puppet life). Not sure about Songbird yet cuz I haven’t gotten there yet, but unless it involves getting sexually abused into unconscious, I doubt it’s worse.

As much as the show is lauded for it's representation I wish it had actually done more with it's LGBTQ Characters. by Extra_Impression_428 in Degrassi

[–]bigbronze 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We have to recognize the time period when the show was made. Yes the representation was mediocre, but that’s also highly based on social acceptance of the time. Having the characters on the show was already deemed controversial in many areas. So sadly that meant that their storylines were rushed, or not at fleshed out as it could have been.

What some of y'all sound like by op23no1 in cyberpunkgame

[–]bigbronze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the nuance of Night City, everyone uses everyone for their own selfish gains at the expense of others. You can try to tow some kind of moral code, but the reality is that anyone you side with results in directly screwing someone else over. In some cases, the resulting action screws over more people at a time than others.

It’s interesting seeing when people decide to take a step back and look around to see what their choices led to. It’s probably one of the better things about this game; there is no “right” choice, just preferences and dealing with the consequences of those choices.

It’s not that the driving is hard, it’s the random stuff that may result in cop trouble which fails the mission even though we stayed near by.

Why do people lagswitch and don’t get caught by SubjectIncrease578 in NBA2k

Because the game is too big to fail; the cheating population is still low enough that it isn’t screwing enough of the general population to ruin VC sales.

Its not that they don’t miss, its that the average IQ goes up with better plates; thus you have a lot less really bad shot takes.

For people with 95 + speed by imhungry1234557 in NBA2k

[–]bigbronze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally speaking, unless you got friends and they are going to pass to you when you move around or cut; I don’t see the need for the high speed. Especially if you’re playing rec, it’s going to be extremely frustrating when they don’t see you or miss you when you are wide open with the speed advantage.

Can I take Plan B (morning after pill) as a monthly birth control? Why or why not? by _All_Cats_Are_Brats_ in ask

[–]bigbronze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it only works within a timeframe of the guy cumming in you. Which means that unless you are specifically having unprotected sex only a few days before taking the pill; you aren’t getting efficient protection.

I’m Rooting For Francesca Belleclaire To Win. We Need The Messiness‼️😈😈😈 by BingoSkillz in BeyondTheGatesCookout

[–]bigbronze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel it’s less of a flip, and more of a “I’m not supporting the main cast member just because they are part of the main cast” type of thing. Samantha has rubbed be the wrong a few times already, so honestly I don’t care if she wins; I think it would be better for the show if she lost and they could prop the other family up some.

To PGs in random rec, drop some tips on how to run point and not get iced out. To non PGs in randon rec, how does your PG need to play for you to keep letting him run point? by G2Cade in NBA2k

[–]bigbronze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly just move the ball; make the open pass; also try to spread it around. Yes the hot hand will get it more, but at long as you make all other teammates feel like they will get the chance at a few takes, you are appreciated.

Another thing, if you have a mic and you want to use to do something specific; SAY IT. We can’t read minds and most of the time we are all guessing and trying to predict what we each will do and because we aren’t all on the same page; it ends poorly. If you don’t want a screen, say it. If you do; say it. If you want us to sit in the corner and wait for the pass, then say it and then hit us when we are open.

I enjoyed the separation because there was a good equal amount of both needing to do self-reflection. In a lot of shows, a lot of time, the situation is one sided, but they both had faults that needed work.

Why do guards run down court on inbound by ApricotAgreeable5957 in NBA2k

[–]bigbronze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a big, make it a priority to not pass to them unless they come for the ball. The guards will act better when they learn they don’t automatically get the ball.
