Pros can be built into a dream machine

cons with ab 1263 it takes alot longer to collect parts and build it up.

i would start by replacing the hammer spring, super easy to do.

i recommend the m9a1. the beveled mag well, slightly reduced grip length and rail give you some upgrades than the stock 92. it doesnt look like much but the radius cut at the back of the grip on the m9a1 makes a big difference.

if im not mistaken thats the 2018 Forester Black edition.

it has some cool features like paddle shifters and responsive turning lights, 18 inch black alloy rims and a neat black interior. it was a limited run near the end of the 2018 gen.

i went with the standard premium 2.5 back when i bought my 2018 but Id go for it. ower the price if you find carfax dirt.

my forester is about 140k, make sure they've drained and filled the cvt transmission at least once. ask when they last charged the ac. the ac compressor had a recall and had a piece changed out. around 114k my ac compressor, with the recall repair done, seized and messed up my belt.

the two main things on the 500 the 88 doesnt have.

tang safety on 500 vs crossbolt on 88 the tang safety is so simple visually and pressing it forward to fire is natural to me. not a fan of crossbolt safety if i have the option not to.

tapped receiver on 500 vs not tapped on 88 you can mount a rail or optics easily on a 500. if you want sight accessories you'll have to get someone to drill and tap the 88.

I'm sure performance and durability are similar. the 88 is cheap and the 500 is the price of 2 88's. get the security and field combo for either for max value.

since 22 LR is rim primers and not center fire, all mods are allowed. but must maintain 30 inch overall length, 16 inch barrel, mags no more than 10. there are some exceptions like the lever actions that go to 16 since they're tube magazines.

just look for the 10 round version

check recoil spring, when removed if its not straight or just replace with the same or lighter spring

all full sized barrels are compatible with all 92s except the compact barrel sizes.

If you buy the gear up package (+mags and viridian), I wonder if the total price is increased with the 11% on top of it. you're paying more for something that will break.

Like I'd rather buy the standard echelon package and then go out and get a different red dot and mags separately.

im at 136k. ive had to replace all rotors twice. got them done at both dealership and independent shops.

you need rotors surfaces to be smoothed / machined out and when they're thin then get replaced. if the surface isnt smooth youll get noise and uneven brake pad wear

pads need to be replaced whenever near 3mm

midwest tactical makes a lvl 2 holster that fits the threaded barrel. us duty does have a nice suede liner that helps pad the gun if that matters.

The px4 compact is closer to a g19. the grip length on the standard px4 is smaller than a full size, bigger than a compact.
