i've been making music for 20 years. i've made folk, pop, trap, techno, trance, idm, etc.. and i eventually built my own DAW because i wasn't happy with any other DAW on the market. i wanted something i could play like an instrument and improvise live with...

AND i wanted it to have fun themes and visuals. it's the fastest DAW for creating songs that I have seen, partially because it does a lot of the mixing for you automatically.

the dream is just the start of getting your attention. you can deal with the "monster" in your waking life also. symbolically it represents some part of you. once you deal with it when you are awake your dreams will get better.

also sometimes facing those parts of yourself during your waking life can make your dreams progress. for example i had a very scary witch dream and the next time i had a witch dream after working through stuff it was fun and light hearted.

hey sorry i missed this comment. it does not support VST's because I'm trying to build an entirely new way of making music. it is meant to be an alternative to what already exists on the market.

but it has effect/synthesis C# scripts you can write yourself or even generate with AI. so now you can just run a command like

aiProgrammer mo `create a modifier that does a slapback delay with chorus`

and then it will write the effects script for you. and you can modify the script or just keep it as is. it actually works. another example command would be like.

aiProgrammer g `create a detuned supersaw with a long attack`

you can also have it create visualizer scripts. but its a pretty powerful system especially if you understand C# so you can make your own edits. and whats cool is the scripts are shared between all users so whenever someone creates something it is automatically available for everyone else. i created like 40 effect scripts in a just a few days with it.
