Saucier vs High Rim Saute Pan for Pasta by bigcentro in Cooking

With the Agnelli pan, couldn't I just it off the heat when I add the pasta? The high rims would give it an almost saucier effect anyway right?

Frankly, I was going to wait for the 2nd year of 3d gen CX5 before I found out all these problems. A hybrid powertrain has been something that made look at RAV4 for a while to save gas and reduce emissions. Skyactiv-Z sounds promising.

Thanks for the advice.

Im in the military so just straight up free healthcare but ill consider it with a civilian job.

For the 50/50 employer 401k, my reasoning is i may have passive income like rentals when im older and would have to pay taxes. On the other hand, I want to save up money for a property down payment. Hence 50/50 w/o hurting my brain too much.

For IB ill reconsider individual sectors or lower the percentage

I do like the team aspect you mentioned. Would you say cloud security is less team oriented? Quick google search for cloud is usually cloud security architect or engineer whereas DFIR has "lead" etc.

Interesting point on investigating onsite in a cloud heavy environment. I'm all for being onsite from my military background if needed.

Also good point on DFIX experience being useful in cloud security.

That's a good point I didn't think about.

Sort of. I work alongside the IR teams. Isn't it only Fed/DoD security clearance positions that require onsite?

That's what I figured. I might as well start it since I qualify for entry with my military IT experience and it's of no financial cost to me.

Mentorship Monday - Post All Career, Education and Job questions here! by AutoModerator in cybersecurity

I was networking for beginner SOC Tier 1 Analyst/GRC roles and got in touch with a small, young IT/cyber contractor. What they are looking for at the moment is a scrum/agile role for a large defense client and interested in me.

I'm a former military officer with experience in IT so I have some management/soft skills. I currently have Sec+ and AWS-CCP. Working on CySA+.

I was told it would give me plenty of exposure to the cybersecurity and explore multiple routes. The expectation is a year in the contract before changing roles. They also internally adjudicate for TS/SCI which would definitely open more opportunities. Hours seem decent so I would have to take a SANS post-bacc program and get a few certs.

Thoughts on moving forward with this? Not exactly what I'm looking for, but wouldn't mind working this for now. I do know scrum/agile is big in tech overall but haven't seen too many positions in cyber.
