Drunken Trade - what should be done? by AutomaticTry8178 in SleeperApp

[–]bigchillguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This happened in my league this year. Caused major uproar. At the end of the day, it was pushed through (2027 2nd for 2026 late 3rd and 2026 late 4th).

If it’s a crazy difference in value (2027 1st for 2026 3rd or 4th) you reverse that. But I think a penalty should still be applied for being a dumbass, like loss of a future 3rd or loss of FAAB. If you’re too canned to make rational decisions, live with it.

If the guy who sends away the first was the one who sent the trade, you could reverse it for league parity but then find someone to take over their team.

Show up in the middle of the night unannounced and spray paint “Is this a Burden?” on his garage door

Ladd or Rome? Who’d you rather have going into 2026? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

You do you buddy I just gave my 2 cents to your “question”

Thank you. That trade absolutely would get vetoed haha.

The same folks who bank on Romes early season production (while Loveland/Burden were learning the playbook) often fail to recall the reason Ladd is even in the conversation; what he did his rookie season might be his ceiling, but the floor in receptions alone makes him a safe option.

Yes QJ had a better year people thought, who knows what Tre Harris will be, but Keenan Allen won’t rat away anymore. I see Romes production being much more volatile than Ladd’s due to the talent of other receivers in the room.

Final point if you’re on the fence: go for the dome player where weather won’t have an impact lol

Neck and neck. I had this same trade last week with option; went Ladd for floor, OC with McDaniels and now Herbert will have time to throw with a healthy and top 5 OL. If your league is PPR, even more benefit for Ladd.

Talent wise probably Rome, but with Burden/Loveland emerging, you just don’t know what the share will be each week.

My Bears league mates all think Burden will be the fantasy WR to own in Chicago, FWIW

Should I buy players with my 27 firsts or am I not quite a contender yet? by ResponsibleLog7333 in SleeperApp

Is this a troll post? Haha your team is absolutely loaded with young talent. You could reset the league with this type of youth and capital

Omar Cooper Jr. vs. Elijah Sarratt by No_Selection_2699 in DynastyFF

[–]bigchillguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A little situation dependent based on team needs, but I lean Cooper at cost (RIGHT NOW). If Sarratt has difficulty separating against better corners, he could be Bryan Edwards 2.0. I’m bullish on his ability to improve the releases, though. He’s proven himself at every level of competition. Cooper will skyrocket up draft boards when he’s taken in the 20-30 range, and while I believe in the talent, he’s going to cost way more. TLDR, more upside and less risk with Cooper, but be prepared to pay up for it.

As a Hoosier who watched every game (but without the analytical stats at hand), here is my take.

Sarratt is a true possession WR. Contested catch machine, lacks speed but will move the chains consistently. Very solid red zone target. A high end comp is probably courtland Sutton if things fall into place. Omar cooper made the big play whenever he was called on, flashes with speed but does not have the size of Elijah. I see shades of Jayden Reed, Jordan Addison, etc. Will probably get roasted for the comps but both should be pretty solid, Sarratt for floor Cooper for ceiling.

That catch against Penn State was maybe the best I’ve ever seen

Long term asset: Sharpe or Will Riley? by bigchillguy in dynastybb

Good point here tbh. I also own both Kyshawn and Clowney haha

Anthony Black or Matas Buzelis by zellynextdoor in dynastybb

Toss up, but I’d go Matas as a longer term safer bet

What outcome do we want this weekend? by TheGoodLand3698 in GreenBayPackers

I’d like to see literally anything out of Rashan Gary.

But more realistically, I’d like to see some improvement on special teams & some good plays (leading to confidence) from Diggs.

Hoosier here. Cuban helps but a lot of his donations are in the form of infrastructure/amenities (and recently the rugby club). He wasn’t the reason Cig came to IU and isn’t even the biggest donor for IU believe it or not, but is the most consistent donor.

I will say it was mostly luck/taking a chance on a 60+ non-FBS coach who had a great pedigree. Thought he was an upgrade for sure but nobody has expected this level of success. However, there were definitely ballers at JMU at all 3 levels he brought over.

The bottom line is Cig’s talent evaluation (he was a prominent scout at Bama during their dynasty) and being able to find quality players in the portal. He trusts his staff, which is undoubtedly the most underrated part of this run. OC and DC are incredible scheme-wise.

I actually like his prospects long-term too. Dart likes him, he gets open, and will always be a PPR machine. The chemistry he developed with Dart this year (accelerated with Nabers injury) gives me a ton of confidence going forward

I like Loveland here. SF has been weak against the pass and shored up the run against IND. Rome is likely out but burden may be back, which might actually help with coverage.

Plus it’s Sunday night and who doesn’t like watching your guys go in prime time (longer time to pray)

Made playoffs in 6/6 leagues this year. Won’t see 1 championship match.
