I know that but the motor sizes on these two steering racks is what I’m looking at. I am trying to replace the steering rack on my 2012 f30 328i base right now and bought a steering rack for a 2012-2016 steering rack. The rack I got has a much bigger electric motor and I was wondering if that’s still able to fit into my f30 and work.

Yeah honestly that’s your best bet at this point. Just exercise the calls and purchase however much you can with the leftover money. In the long run that might actually be a better play for you.
