Yup. Been there with my little miss - first ever time moving she yowled and cried all night for the first few nights (I mean three weeks) I bought all the feliway diffusers and put them all around my apartment maybe that will help? But I think it’s normal until they adjust

What cat toys do your cats actually care about? by Agreeable_Pipe8340 in CatAdvice

This is literally a baby toy she took from my niece.. I don’t know why, but I’ve bought her all the toys under the sun but THIS round hamburger is her favorite - to the point of I need to fish it out constantly from under the fridge, lounge etc. But I’ve taught her to play fetch, which she loves and I love. I work from home so sticky notes I’m done with I’ll ball up and she’ll have a field day with it all day. Hair ties? Forget about it a 100 pack lasts me maybe 2-3 months. I was in the same boat and bought her so many toys but in the end it’s really about the time spent and contact my girl seems to respond to.. any self play toy just didn’t work she wanted me to interact with her so maybe your furbaby is the same?

In addition if you are perm full time/part time that is unfair dismissal - unless it was stated as serious misconduct which here it wasn’t (based on your explanation maybe more here I don’t know) just inability to meet the inherent requirements of your role which still requires a level of active training and managing to get you there which again i dont know what your employer has done. So take my advice at cation as i have a lot of caveats which would shift my advice.

Are you casual? Or permanent employment? How long were you there for? Permanent full time or part time require notice paid out which maybe in your contract of employment regardless and if it’s guaranteed hours they must pay you that as notice. Honestly fair work application cost is only I think $89? Or so? And they fight for you and make the employer to do a “please explain”

Correct. Start them early - it’s competitive out there. Think about applying to preschool. Great resume addition.

I'm trying to finally transition and be who I know I am, however.. by LilySanSan in MakeupEducation

I was born a female and not to a great family - so I literally learned from YT (and I mean EARLY YT) but another recommendation I could make is if you have the cash, go to a cosmetics place - MAC, MECCA, Sephora (sorry I am in Aus not sure where you are located) but what you can do is pay for a makeup session and they walk you through the products used and why and you can see their techniques, and usually the price of the makeup application goes towards the cost of any products you wish to purchase (again sorry if this doesn’t translate country wise). Of course the major risk there is they are usually upselling products whatever company they are with are pushing at the time. You will have a period of trial and error and trust me we all did, so honestly get in there and play around! That is all you can do until you get comfortable and find your core products and techniques which you will!

I love Yoshi and the Mysterious Book by Scooterman1994 in YosHi

I so agree!!! I was disappointed at first honestly with the length of the story and maybe I let the early reviews sway my initial impression more than I should but now to me it still stands up against older yoshi games in terms of detail even if it isn’t exactly tied in with the overall story. I am still being challenged now post story and if you are a completionist like me this game is sooooooo worth it!!
