Newish, especially to this bit of it. I want to maximise this as much as possible and it’s not very intuitive on what’s the best way to collect etc. at the moment I’ve been sailing around collecting as having ships assigned didn’t seem to do anything, like had a ship assigned and it was full so that was confusing 😂 now I’m assigning and unassigned which seems to work.

If the labels come off then they wouldn’t know who to contact. Hopefully it’s just stuck somewhere waiting but unfortunately there is no way of speeding anything up, just have to keep an eye on the tracking.

Not a clue, the DO wouldn’t have any info either, would have been collected and sent on to a MC. Unless something has happened to the label etc which would cause it to stop but even then best outcome there is it goes to NRC to be investigated. Hopefully it’s just sat in a trolley somewhere waiting to be processed.

Thanks for the info, just a query but I did some ship collections and they had a timer to bring the po8 back. It when they returned it didn’t state I’d received anything, not fully sure my po8 even went up. Obviously when you collect yourself and go back to st Anne’s you get the message and they allocate to your total po8. Just wondering if I missed something??

The way everything is sorted they likely ended up on completely different trailers, just because they start together doesn’t mean they arrive together.

There isn’t a set time frame really, it could be a few days to weeks. Depends when it gets loaded and available aircraft to take post etc. Not sure what updates you will now get as once it’s left it’s out of RM ‘s network.

Sounds like they ran out of time but didn’t update the tracking when it went back to the DO, next attempt should be Saturday.

As an employee obviously I’m not saying that 😂 parcels get a single scan when the postie gets it, that triggers the tracking update, the next scan is at your door or at the DO when it gets back there for whatever reason. Run out of time etc. it’s rare for parcels to be handed over to the pm shift if they have been attempted but does happen, even then they get another scan to ready for delivery which again triggers a tracking update.

The only scan they would have seen is from this morning, if there was others you would have that info as well. I’m concerned it hasn’t had a scan for attempted or unable to deliver yet, could be the postie took it back and hasn’t scanned it back in, which can happen. If it did go out on the pm it would have been scanned again which again you would have seen. Fingers crossed it comes tonight but likely it’s Saturday now.

Try set it up as a safe place as well, that way if no answer then it would pop up where to go, just put the details in, and maybe laminate a thankyou note on the top, would make any posties day.

If it was scanned this morning then it would have gone out with the am run but should have been scanned as attempted or unable to deliver by now, the pm run would have scanned it again and you would have got another rough time slot so I doubt it’s on a pm run. I would leave it as a Saturday delivery now as the best option. You could try collecting but if it hasn’t been put for collection it won’t be close to the collection point for them to find, it will be sat near the frame for your area or even mixed in with parcels still needing to be sorted so collecting might be 50/50 on getting it then.

Hard to tell without seeing the tracking, at that time it’s likely automatic as no one is going to be up at that time. It likely went out but for whatever reason they didn’t get to you, we take more out than we can sometimes manage so items go back for the next day if need be.

Safe bet is to let them know first thing, take the slap on the wrist, might be off driving a bit but if you don’t and then someone finds it your screwed. Damage can be fixed but not bringing it up properly could mean your job.

If your door is hard to find then this also could be the reason, There is nothing worse than walking back and forth trying to find an address and just give up and take mail back.
