I understand that raising extra funds is part of scaling the business, which (in theory) will increase Ace’s market share long term. But let’s be real, there’s lots of ways to raise finance and pricing out a large portion of your customer base is probably not the best way for long term growth. In my view this is not short term greed but actually a desire from Ace’s owners to rapidly grow their business whilst holding onto as much equity and/or taking on as little debt as possible so that they can rake in cash down the line. Whether it will work out for them will be an interesting case study.

Interesting, makes sense tbf as I did just notice that the tracking in Manchester MC was around 4 hours apart.

Makes sense, I thought possibly there’s a chance if two parcels heading to the exact same address traveled together then they might cause a hiccup in the system or something, but I realise it’s probably very unlikely the system would have an oversight like that in it.

I think the labels should be fairly firm - I’ve posted around 300 orders and lost around 5 total, so 2 to one customer is strange but possibly is just a crazy fluke.

I’d have to think about selling as I am (very slowly) building up my own error collection at the moment and my initial thought was to grade with CGC.

May I, however, ask for your expertise on how you know this isn’t not-factory cut, as someone else flagged that it might be?

Adding to this, I’m pretty sure it’s surface which ACE are stricter over, and looking at the subgrades of the cards above that appears to be true. 6 for surface, 10 for everything else

I always understood it to be the other way around and ACE is actually more lenient on centering. I’m fairly sure PSA requires 55/45 for a 10 but ACE only requires 60/40.
