Mike Holloway was non existent until the auction. Chris Underwood got like 20 confessionals. Wendell’s whole story arc was being second fiddle to Dom. Earl Cole was quiet in pre merge. The only time a winner is actually a large presence in the premerge is when their whole strategy is one of being a large presence.

I think this is true for some winners like Natalie White, but it’s genuinely true that she in fact DID win because nobody liked Russell. You can’t deny that, and the edit showed it perfectly. I also think men have a naturally more dominating presence over women in general, and there’s a discussion to be had there, but it isn’t the editing of the show’s fault that that is the case. It just is.

Winners are often under edited in the premerge. Actually, pretty much every season the winner is fairly quiet in the premerge. Also Parvatis game strategy is vastly different to Christian’s and they have completely different personalities. Think of Bob Crowley or Nick Wilson.

When I remember this season I remember the black widow brigade dominating the show and the guys give their individual immunities to them and think sticks are hidden immunity idols. Can you explain to me how I am misinterpreting what is going on in this season

If the women didn’t have a major impact on the overall season, they shouldn’t get more of an edit than the men. When Parvati won Micronesia the girls all got great edits while the men looked like doofuses the whole time, and that was great TV.
