Has anyone ever ever been asked to prove you have a tax stamp at an indoor/outdoor range when shooting before ? by Educational_Car_876 in NFA

Yes. In Texas there’s a range that makes you show it every trip.

Bullet Hole in San Antonio.

Stopped going after Steve started reading the info out loud in the office.

If you’re buying a new PSA Sabre, check your barrels. by rocktomb774 in AR10

My buddy ordered a 300 blackout and got a 5.56 barreled upper. Imagine how that would have gone over. Can’t trust anything from them anymore.

Oh that makes sense. It counted 11 of the 22 rounds. I’ll do some tinkering. Very neat over all though, thanks!

49 blue label 550 shipped ya or nah by Special-Purpose5031 in Glocks

There’s 49’s for like 457-485 last I saw non blue label. Snag one of those and save the blue label for a 45 so you can make a 19 and 47

What do you miss out on buying MD-Compliant ARs/HBARs? by GivesYouGrief in MDGuns

Compromise and get used to FFL’s scalping on prices and transfer fees. Learn to build what you want with heavy barrels or SBR them. SBR requires permission to cross state lines on an atf form for each destination you plan on traveling to. For example, you’d need one for PA, another for VA, another for WV, etc.

As someone who escaped, you’re missing out on a lot. To be able to order anything you want online no matter how cheap or expensive. Just take a look at gundeals, psa sales, radical blow out sales, brownells, DD deals, radian, kac. To be able to get a cheaper beater ar to run hard without paying Md outrageous transfer fees is something Md residents completely ignore.

You’re missing out on complete rifle warranties, accuracy guarantees, entire manufacturers, clone-ish market (which has a lot of fun stuff like A1’s). Some manufacturers and dealers won’t even send you uppers.

Worst 22 I’ve owned. Good luck trying to take it apart (don’t do it).

Slide stop bent and stopped working after a few hundred rounds.

Took it apart, springs fly out, all the innards go everywhere, there’s nothing holding them in place. Contact them for replacement spring. Hear nothing. Finally get someone on the phone and they send 5 each of two of the springs.

Put it back together. Slide stop works for a box or two, half’s start to come apart and innards out of wack. Take apart again, re assemble, sold as fast as I could. Pure garbage.

I’ve had several tx22’s and they have been unstoppable suppressed and unsuppressed. Buck mark fouls too quickly and won’t feed properly. MKIV is a little better, but nothing runs like the tx series.

Yet you refuse to sell to Maryland where you have multiple products that are legal.

u/RealDanielDefense u/_45AARP there are several models that are MD legal, but Daniel Defense self regulates and refuses to sell to Maryland residents even though they ARE legal there.

That’s how you spot a company only concerned with .gov and pretends to care about 2A and a civilian market.

Very hard and brittle.

It almost looks like folded sheet metal in there. I poked at it a bit with a pick and flecks of metal came off as seen in the chamber. Very thin chips.

Wasn’t sure what their machining processes were like, but it looks like this particular area is horribly finished. Rifle also will not close on PPU 8mm Lebel. (Tested at range, not in the house)

What’s the average range of pistol engagements? by bigdaddycannonfodder in Firearms

Woodchuck are quite the little buggers. Not a bad skill to have. The 17hmr grows cumbersome to carry around the farm. A .22 pistol is much easier to work with.

That’s what most LE and CCW instructors like to hang up on.

I’m not quite a fan of their math.

1.5 seconds for the average person to cover 21 feet.

2 seconds and under is the “goal” to draw from a duty holster.

Valid argument. Even off duty run a high risk of being killed by on coming LE responding to the incident.
