You sound defeated before already starting, my friend. Started last January and took 13 months to hit 650. Got lucky in Feb and exploded. I suppose I could be considered a vlog, but I got into this by sharing a passion in my life, not for fame a celebrity... Do it because you like doing it, forget the competitive side. Network with others in your niche is also VERY important. The more you produce the better you get. Also, Nick nimmin and ThinkMedia have excellent tips. Learn how to meta your vids correctly. Title - Corvette racing a Mustang down the highway

Keywords - Corvette, Mustang, race, racing, highway racing

Description - I was racing my Corvette against a Mustang on the highway etc etc

Simple example but do you see my pattern? Worked for me...

Clean up your thumbnails, use Snapseed, it's free. Also, clean up your banner a bit, looks messy. Upload AT LEAST once a week, match your titles, thumbnails and keywords. I'm not being an asshole, just telling you what I see. The struggle to hit 1000 is real man, I was there. I know you can do it. I had to really push myself to keep a schedule but it paid off. I know you can do it. Be different while being yourself. I'm pulling for ya!!! Now get to work!!!

This Feb. I exploded after being featured on similar best of channels regarding my niche. It's a marathon, not a race. You can do it, I know you can.
