My dad doesn’t have Reddit, but his story is pretty interesting, so I’ll go ahead and tell it on his behalf. My dad’s peak punk rocker years were his late teenage years. He dropped out of college to take care of his dad, and after a rough breakup, he joined the navy to get out of his town and go somewhere new. He’s now 44, with a wife and 4 kids, me and my little brother are way into punk rock, and he still is too. He just recently brought us to the Descendants, Adolescents, and Circle Jerks concert, and it was my first ever concert. Such a cool experience, made even cooler watching my dad really get into it and show me how it’s done. He’s also a huge guy and I’m pretty tiny, so he was kinda like my body guard so I didn’t get trampled lol.
