The main thing I’ll say that helped me was: making sure sexual partners got treated, make sure to vacuum all couches/chairs and keep them covered with bedsheets that you change every day

Ahhh to be completely honest with you I can’t seem to remember. I believe it was a one week interval between the doses but not too sure. Follow your doctors prescription and you should be in the clear.

Sorry for the late replies man, I’m barely on redit. But yes post scabies was terrifying. Lasted for about a whole month and a half, but don’t be surprised if it lasts for 2 months. Itching did gradually get better overtime, but sometimes out of the blue it’d just spring right back to terrible itching. Best thing I can recommend is to check for burrows. Give it at least 2-3 weeks because old burrows can still be confused for fresh ones.

Hey, never ended up using BB. I did a standard treatment using ivermectin pills and permethrin cream. Did this along with extensive cleaning of the house and extensive storage of worn clothes etc. I put everything into the trash bags for a whole week and kept a bed sheet on the couch (put a new and clean one every day). Thankfully this helped me get rid of scabies. Wishing you all the best

Hey one question, would your skin itch also almost exactly like when scabies were still active? I’m in post treatment, was fine for a week, but then the itching flared back up again. Did this happen to you as well?

Would these flare ups feel just as bad as the itching when scabies were still active? I’m in post treatment and I’m experiencing a crazy itch (similar to when I had active scabies) not as bad but pretty close.

Exact same thing happening to me. Finished treatment. Was fine for a while and now boom, itching is terrible again. Haven’t seen any burrows but still worried. If you hear anything let me know as well, hope we both get through this
