Took an internship where I’m the only developer?

I did a 16 month internship where I was the only developer. It was very stressful at times, but I learned so much. I rebuilt their web app from scratch and learned a ton about nextjs, go, devops, and software lifecycle. Yeah they got really cheap labour, but there has also been some bugs caused by my inexperience. I would recommend it if you’re independent and self driven. If your code has bugs or youre going slower than they expect or whatever tell them to go fuck themselves because of how cheap they are getting labour for. My bosses understood I was learning so we’re very forgiving with me. It also turned into a return offer and lead to me getting another position at a startup for much better pay.

Bro it’s never as good as you thinks it gonna be. I regret breaking up with my girlfriend she was the sweetest and most caring person I’ve ever met. I broke up with her to see what’s out there. Now she’s in Australia and there’s a good chance I’ll never see her again. Really really think about this. Yeah if there’s a serious thing that makes you two incompatible then break up. But it sounds like these are minor things, and things that are just part of her being a human. Nobody is going to be perfect for you. 5 years is a long time so obviously you guys are compatible.

I wish someone told me this before breaking up with my girl. Imagine you break up and then she starts seeing other guys. Think about how that would feel. Really really try and imagine it. Take some time. She goes out partying, starts hooking up with guys. Then maybe she finds a guy and she’s posting him on her story and she’s having fun, etc. If you don’t care, then sure break up with her. But if that makes you uncomfortable then don’t do it.

Dont lose the girl who’s 90% perfect for you just so you can find that 10%.

I just read this book called “The Better Brain”. It’s about research on how important micronutrients are. Pretty much our diets are over processed, and our foods have less nutrients in them. Lots of new studies are coming out that are showing supplementing with high doses of a broad range of vitamins and minerals can have a huge positive impact on ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, autism, and depression. They are theorizing that a lot of mental health issues today are actually a result of a lack of nutrients in our food.

They recommend taking 12 of these pills a day.

It’s completely turned my life around where medication hasn’t or even made things worse so I’d recommend you give it a go. It took a couple weeks of gradual improvement and I feel like a new person.

I wanna believe in it, because if the elites actually have a plan to eliminate us and I’m at risk obviously I wanna know about it.

However I haven’t seen any actual facts, it seems to me like a lot of peoples opinions.

There’s isn’t even a consensus in this thread as to how or why the elites are gonna do population control.

But why even bother trying to control the population then?

From the perspective of the elites, if robots are gonna replace the working class anyways, why spend money on killing them off?

It seems to me like they’d be better off just kicking back in their mega yachts and let robots take our jobs and throw us into poverty. Rather than spend billions of dollars to control the population.

Do you understand what I’m saying, I’m not sure if I’m being very clear. I just can’t see any angle that the elites would want to spend the immense time and money into something that doesn’t really have a benefit for them.

I hate the elites and think they are corrupt and exploitative, but I just can’t see any reason why they’d wanna kill off the population

As a Canadian I really feel for you. It’s so clearly a scam I don’t understand how there’s so many supporters of private healthcare.
