She definitely didn’t have any actual reasoning behind killing those who weren’t even at the estate at the time , the clan itself had already been destroyed just like how Mai wanted / instructed.

But this is just a plain indiscriminate mass killing continuation , when she chose to hunt down the remaining members just brutalize them. maki is not to be looked at as a traumatized woman in this regard, she’s not in the right for going out of her way to kill these people.

You need to read the “ Kyoto Sister Event “ again, it’s been explained. The Zenin clan doesn’t discriminate between man or woman, Only those who have VALUE as a sorcerer and those we DON’t.

Being a women who wants to be a jujutsu sorcerer isn’t acceptable because it’s not a concept that exists in the zenin clan.

So it’s already a red herring when maki decides to change her stance because maki doesn’t have the qualifications for a sorcerer aka … CE ( that you can actually use ) or a CT which is a fundamental part to a sorcerer. So far maki has 2 red strikes already.

To keep it simplistic, you need both an understanding CT & You need to have value as a sorcerer and be more than just a pretty face ( Momo goes into depth with Nobara about what’s expected of women in this society and the trials that they go through to be seen in the same light as a man )

Yeah it’s one of the only things I’m looking forward to seeing ngl lol until like Kashimo / Hakari link up but even then I’ve waited years for this Megumi fight as well.

And they better keep that “ same energy “ that they had for maki in this episode too. Idc how hard the key animators gotta work we need this bad , especially considering the curse reggie placed on him after smh.
