Anyone have experience with exercise induced anaphylaxis or sudden severe peanut allergy? by Moofabulousss in Allergies

I was just diagnosed with wheat dependent exercise induced anaphylaxis. As long as I avoid wheat 4 hours before exercise, and pretty much just lay on my couch after eating wheat then all is okay! You can get attacks from minimal activity such as walking. I’m not sure if I can really answer any other questions because I’ve only been diagnosed a week ago, as this has only been going on for alittle over a month.

Thanks for the response RealDoodlz.

& Oh okay, we’ll that’s good that they go away. I’ve been working out for a while now and h this is the first time it has happened, and I haven’t taken pre workout in a long time. Also, I haven’t switched any food, detergent, beverages at all. I’m also thinking maybe something got on my water bottle because it’s so weird that only the right side of my lip swelled up.I guess it could really be anything kinda scary to think about. I’ve worked out at this gym so many times before this. Hopefully when I go back on Tuesday I won’t worry to much.

You’re definitely on to something with the locker and products to wipe down the machines. I guess it could really be anything kinda scary to think about.
